Hi Chris,
Yes thanks a lot. The enum was exactly what we needed, especially since we are able to expand the responses whenever needed now.

how can i use txtNoPersoneli when this is in other form?
|
|
|
|
|
If txtNoPersoneli's access modifier is public then you should be able to access it through otherforminstance.txtNoPersoneli
Better still, create events in otherform that are rasied when whatever your interested in with txtNoPersoneli occurs, and subscribe to these in the initial form.

i change to public,but yet i can not use that

You have to access it through an instance of the second form. For example, if the form is called Form2 then:
Form2 form2 = new Form2();
form2.txtNoPersoneli.Text = "Text";

Whoever univoted this - I agree that it's not best practice and if you look at my previous reply I did suggest using events (implies delegates too). The question in response to that from the OP was specifically on the unrecommended way, to which I gave an accurate and working response!

You change the access modifier to public, but it is not recommended as it breaks OO rules. Use delegates to communicate between forms. CP has an article on this subject.
|
|
|
|
|
listen,
you have to use delegates, search: transfer data between form here in codeproject.
you may want to drop the idea of using more than 1 form
use parentform/childform method
or
1form + 10usercontrols (usercontrols that load in form like page, i use it a lot) method
i use delegates, see the following exemple
(here i trigger a text msg FROM usercontrol IN form):
in userform
public delegate void Delegate_TransferPageInfo(string msg);
public event Delegate_TransferPageInfo Event_TransferPageInfo;
private void ToolStripButton_Add_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{...
Event_DriverPageInfo("ERROR: invalid birth date");
...}
in form
private void Form_Main_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{...
UserControl_DriverPage_Child.Event_DriverPageInfo += new UserControl_DriverPage.Delegate_DriverPageInfo(Page_Info);
...}
protected void Page_Info(string msg)
{
ToolStripStatusLabel_MainInfo.Text = msg;
}
can´t help you more!!!

Hi..
Is it possible to find the webcam images path through C#.Net code.
Thank you..

What is a "webcam images path"?

i mean. when web cam captures an images by default it will be saved in somewhere....
i want to get that path.

I don't know of a standard path where a webcam would store all the captured images. The app might store it in "my pictures", or in a folder where the app is installed. Different webcam applications may use different folders, don't you think?

Thanks for ur response..
Actually i need to store the web cam captured image dynamically

So, have an option in your application where the user can specify the path on where to store the captured images. It would be ideal to create a folder, within the "My Pictures" folder, and store the images there by default.

There's no default saving location. Create a folder within My pictures like "My Captures" and store it within that folder.
sirisha guttikonda wrote: i'm using hp wecam here
Umm... So, you are not writing an utility for a webcam yourself? Are you just intending to find the default location where this HP webcam stores the captured images? If yes, there must be an app that should be controlling it. Why not check with the settings?

I have a simple experimental WPF application which works fine.
However the designer is broken.
I'm working on a MarkupExtension which takes 2 parameter, here is the faulty XAML snippet:
<TextBlock
Text="{Binding}"
Background="{Binding
Converter={local:Script
'if(value%2==0) Brushes.Red; else Brushes.Green;', {x:Type Brushes}}}"/>
And I got this error message in the designer: "Problem Loading ........ <<Button: Reload the designer>>"
If I click on the button it fails and I got this error message in the error list:
Error 1 No constructor for type 'ScriptExtension' has 2 parameters. C:\Dev\Tests\ExpressionConverter\ExpressionConverter\Window1.xaml 13 43 ExpressionConverter
But problem is, my has extension has all the required parameters!!!
here is a snippet of its C# code...
public class ScriptExtension : MarkupExtension
{
public ScriptExtension(string code) { Init(code); }
public ScriptExtension(string code, Type t0) { Init(code, t0); }
public ScriptExtension(string code, Type t0, Type t1) { Init(code, t0, t1); }
public ScriptExtension(string code, Type t0, Type t1, Type t2) { Init(code, t0, t1, t2); }
public ScriptExtension(string code, Type t0, Type t1, Type t2, Type t3) { Init(code, t0, t1, t2, t3); }
public ScriptExtension(string code, Type t0, Type t1, Type t2, Type t3, Type t4) { Init(code, t0, t1, t2, t3, t4); }
void Init(string code, params Type[] types)
{
......
}
.....
}
Any tip / work around (to re-enable the designer) please?!?

hi all,
I have an exe and it contains some other dlls and using functions from that dll.I want to debug through that dll also using DbgCLR.exe.
can anybody help me to solve this problem?
Thanks & Regards

Sorry, you cant. Neither will you be able to step thru any code in the external dll, nor will it work on native dlls (you need VS for that).
xacc.ide - now with TabsToSpaces support IronScheme - 1.0 alpha 4a out now (29 May 2008) ((lambda (x) `((lambda (x) ,x) ',x)) '`((lambda (x) ,x) ',x))

hi,
thank you..
but iam able to step through the dll using the DbgCLR.exe once i get the il code.but what my problem is i want to step through the external dll referenced by the application also.is it possible?

hi
when i run this code this generate error
why?
objCommand.Parameters.Add("@nopersoneli", SqlDbType.int).Value =int.parse(txtNoPersoneli.text);
thanks a lot
|
|
|

1. What's the error you're getting
2. Should that be @"nopersoneli" ?
3. Should that be txtNoPersoneli.Text ?
4. Does txtNoPersoneli.Text definately contain a valid integer?
4b. Consider getting the integer value before this line by using int.TryParse method.

Yeah - just saw the 'crapiness' of the question and jumped on the obvious without too much thought. I never even looked at the beginning of the statement - the possibilities I spotted from briefly scanning just one line of code made me close my eyes!
