Hi all,
I have a problem trying to log in this spanish web: http://www.infojobs.net.
The login web is this: http://www.infojobs.net/candidato_login.cfm
For testing, I have created this user/pass:
email/nick: testforlogin@hotmail.com
pass: 1234
So, I've tried two ways:
Option 1:
string login = https://www.infojobs.net/candidato_login_run.cfm;
NameValueCollection postdata=new NameValueCollection();
postdata.Add("email", "textBoxName.Text");
postdata.Add("password", textBoxPass.Text);
byte[] data = clientWeb.UploadValues(new Uri(login), postdata);
string page = Encoding.Default.GetString(data);
Option 2:
clientWeb.Headers.Add("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
string data = "email=" + textBoxName.Text + "&e_password=" + textBoxPass.Text;
byte[] postArray = Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes(data);
byte[] responseArray = clientWeb.UploadData(login, "POST", postArray);
string paginaresultado = Encoding.Default.GetString(responseArray);
Also, clientWeb is an extended WebClient class that manage cookies.
And the login is always wrong
Any ideas?
Thanks in advanced.
Regards

I have a custom action fired during installation which creates a database, tables, and stored procedures. I ran the whole script in Mgmt Studio and worked fine. However, from C# it gives error:
'CREATE PROCEDURE' must be the first statement in a query batch.
I researched and found out GO is not a T-Sql statement but for Mgmt studio. How can I get rid of the error. Here is my script skeleton:
CREATE TABLE Regions
(
RegionID SMALLINT NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY,
Description VARCHAR(50) NOT NULL
);
CREATE TABLE Vendors
(
VendorID CHAR(3) NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY,
Name CHAR(30) NOT NULL
);
CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].[up_CancelOrder]
@PurchaseOrderID VARCHAR(6) = NULL
AS
BEGIN
-- SET NOCOUNT ON added to prevent extra result sets from
-- interfering with SELECT statements.
SET NOCOUNT ON;
-- Insert statements for procedure here
UPDATE dbo.PurchaseOrder
SET StatusID = 0
WHERE PurchaseOrderID = @PurchaseOrderID
END
CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].[up_Something]
(
--eForm Fields
@Foo CHAR(8)
)
WITH RECOMPILE
AS
SELECT TOP 100 PERCENT Name
FROM ATable
WHERE AColumn= @Foo

My suggestion would be to put all the stuff in Stored proc and just execute the stored proc.

I have A Sql compact database and im trying to return the ID of the record just inserted, howerver multi queries are not support,
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.data.sqlserverce.sqlcecommand.aspx[^]
"The Data Provider for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Everywhere Edition does not support batched queries. Commands must be in the following form:"
Select * from Customers and not Select * from Customers; Select * from Orders;
Any solutions on how to write an alternative?

What if you send the query to insert. Then send another query to get the identity.

use @@IDENTITY or a Stored Procedure?

? Sql Server CE doesn't support multiple concurrent connections. Did you try it like this?
command.CommandText = "Your Insert Statement";
command.Execute();
command.Parameters.Clear();
command.Parameters.Add("@id", ...");
...
command.CommandText = "SET @id = @@IDENTITY";
command.ExecuteNonQuery();

hi
i want to add a new rec to a table with bindingsource
BindingSource1.Add(dr);
and dr is a datarow but it raise an runtime error that " dr must be the same type of other items in collection"
ofcurse its the same type but i dont know whats the problem!!!
any one can tell me how i do it?
thanks

I assume dr is DataRow, therefore you cant add a DR in BindingSource. Add in the associated DataTable instead.

No, I think Yusuf was right, I think he's referring to magic. The question is, is it White Magic or Black Magic?

if i am right. you want to open some web pages automatically when you run your application
for example you want to open following pages through your application just runnging your single application
1. yahoo mail
2. codeproject website
3. google

helu.... i am writing code for a server which listens on a port 1000; and i start the listener as a thread. but the problem is that when the client connections increase then the server is unable to handle the requests and errors n exceoptions occur.
i think the single thread is unable to handle that many conections. so is it possible to start multiple threads on the same port 1000;
thanks
|
|
|
|
|
No, you'd need more than 1 TCP socket on port 1000 (you can use a socket across multiple threads, but you shouldn't Listen() on multiple threads with the same socket) which is clearly illegal.
However, you could handle the request on an other thread if you're not already doing that.
|
|
|
|
|
thanks.. but "handle the request on an other thread" how can i do that is ti like statring a new thread when any new connection is made to the server
|
|
|
|
|
There are several ways, starting a new thread wouldn't be the best of them (too much overhead), but you could use the threadpool
Or, you could let the current thread handle the request but Before that, give the socket to an other thread to listen for more connections.
As long as the listening for more connections doesn't happen on the same thread as the handling of the existing connections doesn't happen on the same thread.
I'd probably loop the listener on its own thread and add the handling to the threadpool queue.
