Use xml file like then you will able to read more than one table in dataset by ds.ReadXml(xmlfile) ;Just test it.
<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
<PersonalInfo>
<xs:schema id="PersonalInfo" xmlns="" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:msdata="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-msdata">
<xs:element name="PersonalInfo" msdata:IsDataSet="true" msdata:UseCurrentLocale="true">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:choice minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded">
<xs:element name="PesonalInfo.">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<!--Define Column Here....-->
<xs:element name="name" type="xs:string" />
<xs:element name="address" type="xs:string" />
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:choice>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:schema>
<!--First Row-->
<PersonalInfo.>
<name>abc</name>
<address>xyz</address>
</PersonalInfo.>
<!--Second Row-->
<!--If You Want To Define-->
<name>bcd</name>
<address>ssss</address>
<!--Please Be CareFull When Enter New Row If There Is No Data To Insert To
Particular Column Then Write NULL-->
<xs:schema id="OtherInfo" xmlns="" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:msdata="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-msdata">
<xs:element name="OtherInfo" msdata:IsDataSet="true" msdata:UseCurrentLocale="true">

Hello,
I've created a WebClient which downloads the index.html file from my webserver and it has been working for the past 3 weeks, but I've had to rewrite my code due to a virus making me format my computer.
Here's my code:
WebClient DownloadData = new WebClient();
DownloadData.DownloadFile("myURL", "LocalDestinationPath");
I am using the exact same code as I used before. I don't understand why it doesn't work this time. I don't get any error messages, or debugging errors, it just doesn't work. I've tried
DownloadFile ,
DownloadData ,
DownloadStream and none of them work :'( Can anybody please help shed some light on the matter? Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jay.

Do you get an exception? How do you know it isn't working?
|
|

Thanks for the reply sebastion, I know it isn't working because the index.html file is not being downloaded into the destination path that I specified. Which is:
C:\index.html

jason.

Is it "C:\\index.html" or "C:\index.html"?

It is: C:\\index.html
foreach( inch on Jason )
{
Girlfriend.IsHappier();
}

Most of the other things that I can think of would throw some kind of exception
Other folders got the same problem?

Edit. Forgot to answer your first question. lol. No, I'm not getting any exceptions either. It's so weird.

HI,
I want to call web url from my desktop application.
How to do???
|
|
|
|
|
I think I understand your question, please correct me if I'm wrong. I think you want to open a URL in the users browser from within your application? If that's the case, try this:
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("http://www.AnyWebsite.com/");
The above code will open the specified url into the default web browser.
Hope this helps,
jay.
foreach( inch on Jason )
{
Girlfriend.IsHappier();

Hallo
in kernel32.dll there is a CreateFile method to open a specific drive letter (logical or physical) for reading or writing.
I'm aiming to code a small partition cloning utility, a raw copying: do you thing that i could work it out with raw reading/writing between these two handlers CreateFile(Source: , READ) and CreateFile(Destination: , WRITE)?

hallo
i wrote a small system tray utility to eject the CD, it uses Kernel32 via interop to access CreateFile, DeviceIOControl and CloseHandle methods (cannot use WMI).
It works fine unless the CD content is being viewed in a explorer window, or "My computer" window is open (i.e.: all drive units listed).
It seems that explorer locks the drive unit during these two views: any idea on how to overcome this?
this is an extract of the code:
const uint GENERICREAD = 0x80000000;
const uint OPENEXISTING = 3;
const uint IOCTL_STORAGE_EJECT_MEDIA = 2967560;
const int INVALID_HANDLE = -1;
const uint DRIVE_CDROM = 5;
private static IntPtr fileHandle;
private static uint returnedBytes;
[DllImport("kernel32", SetLastError = true)]
static extern IntPtr CreateFile(string fileName,
uint desiredAccess,
uint shareMode,
IntPtr attributes,
uint creationDisposition,
uint flagsAndAttributes,
IntPtr templateFile);
[DllImport("kernel32", SetLastError = true)]
static extern int CloseHandle(IntPtr driveHandle);
[DllImport("kernel32", SetLastError = true)]
static extern bool DeviceIoControl(IntPtr driveHandle,
uint IoControlCode,
IntPtr lpInBuffer,
uint inBufferSize,
IntPtr lpOutBuffer,
uint outBufferSize,
ref uint lpBytesReturned,
IntPtr lpOverlapped);
[DllImport("kernel32", SetLastError = true)]
static extern int GetDriveType(string driveLetter);
...
public static void Eject(string driveLetter)
{
try
{
fileHandle = CreateFile(driveLetter,
GENERICREAD,
0,
IntPtr.Zero,
OPENEXISTING,
0,
IntPtr.Zero);
if ((int)fileHandle != INVALID_HANDLE)
{
DeviceIoControl(fileHandle,
IOCTL_STORAGE_EJECT_MEDIA,
IntPtr.Zero, 0,
IntPtr.Zero, 0,
ref returnedBytes,
IntPtr.Zero);
}
}
catch
{
throw new Exception(Marshal.GetLastWin32Error().ToString());
}
finally
{
CloseHandle(fileHandle);
fileHandle = IntPtr.Zero;
}
}

Hi All,
i'm developing a project with Window Media Player in WinForms(c#) and I need to get the WM/Picture field inside a Mp3 file ,my purpose was to show the Cover Picture of the current song playing by Windows Media Player like the original Windows Media Player,so when the music player change song also the picture will change in syncronize.
Can you give me some advice how apply this feature?
... i researched on internet but nothing ,no luck.
Nice Regards

I don't think that the picture is embedded [^]in the mp3 file, instead, I guess Windows Media player looks up the album name somewhere. I'm not sure about this, I hope someone here can confirm or deny it

your hopes are answered... you are wrong
see the post i left for the OP for some interesting links... at first i assumed the same as you and thought WMP just linked the files with the images as in a lot of instances i always see album art as a seperate image file. though i suppose in the instance of 'album' art it is more practical to store the image once if it is to be used by multiple tracks, rather then embedding the same image in every track on the album
