Admitting guilt doesn't absolve you from reponsability. Your latest request for, what I would assume to be malicious was no later then today. AND you already received the answer for it, you just needed it again.
You never learn, you're still a plague and burden on these boards.

You say that you've changed but you're still asking the same moronic questions which a (very clever) five year can answer with just common sense.
You are still asking malicious questions, how have you changed exactly?

Hello All,
I've been researching the Clipboard class in an attempt to copy and paste my custom classes. Serialization/Deserialization is not my problem but I don't know how to store and retrieve my custom classes. Does anyone have an example on this issue?
The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.

I have never done this however I imagine you should us a private format[^] RegisterClipboardFormat[^]
Also you could try using XML Serialization and a Text format.
Of course there could be more appropriate IPC mechanisms to use but we don't have your requirements.

Dear Reader/Developer,
I want to develop a stand alone digital dashboard application to present live data from input coming into the computer ports (e.g. USB, serial or parallel port). The data is of an engineering type (e.g. volumes, mass, loads, velocity, etc).
1) What technologies do you recommend I use? (I am keen to learn what ever is required - I currently have an understanding of VB.NET and C#.NET).
2) Do you have any source code?
3) Which port would you recommend I use and why?
4) Which platform (i.e. a Windows form or internet browser application) would you recommend and why?
The final application will be running in a hostile and stand-alone environment, so I need to ensure the solution is simple and robust.
Notes:
1) I have spent a considerable amount of time searching and trolling Google pages with little definitive success. However I did find that there were several different approaches to developing digital dashboards so I am left wondering which one is the most robust approach for my problem?
2)I do not have a large budget to purchase one of the many digital dash boards development suites that are out there at huge cost.
3) This is definitely not a homework task - it is simply a genuine enquiry to gauge how best to approach this problem.
Thank you for reading and considering this question,
Regards,
Christopher (Sciencez)

Thank you for your response - I was amazed at how fast you responded - I had only put the question up a few minutes earlier. I will investigate the leads you provided and get my head around the code. Again thank you for your thoughtfulness,

windows form, because for me it easy to develop

Search CP for "industrial controls", "serial port", "USB".

Luc,
Thank you for this most valuable insight - I did not think to search "Industrial Controls", but it has revealed some VERY valuable information and will give me the necessary guidance that I need to get started.
I have also found "USB port" and "Serial port" very useful.
Wishing you every happiness, - I notice you live in Belgium, - I hope you are enjoying the start of your Summer, - I live in Sydney, Australia and we are well in the grip of our Winter - I can't wait for the return of the warmer weather and the opportunity to swim and sit under a tree while working.

With code.
A good start would be taking this question, and the one you posted below, to the correct forum[^].

I don't frequent the ASP.NET forum, so taking questions like this over there would be a good start. That way I wouldn't have to look at it.

There is no property to enable or diable a node in treeview.
Here, you can change style of the node to look like a disabled(or ateast different).
You may need to handle a bit more if you have urls defined in the NavigateUrl property or have a click event fired.

I had a small BHO application, I had make a setup through Setup and deployment Project.
I got the setup in debug folder. If I right click and check the properties of that setup, In that click Version tab, the option FILE VERSION is showing some value like 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200), I want change this value, How to change this? I was using vs2005.

Hey all,
I have the following problem:
I want to add some functonallity to my application that searches your entire harddisk and lists all the files that have been found.
Now i have the following code, but when i want to look in certain folders i get an access denied error. Is there a way to get some tep. read rights for that folder?
private void bgwInit_DoWork(object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)
{
Files = 0;
Size = 0;
string dir = (string)e.Argument;
List<ListViewItem> results = new List<ListViewItem>();
string[] DirectoryArray = System.IO.Directory.GetDirectories("C:\\Windows");
DateTime lastReport = DateTime.Now;
if (DirectoryArray.Length != 0)
{
foreach (string D in DirectoryArray)
{
System.IO.DirectoryInfo WDDirInfo = new System.IO.DirectoryInfo(D);
try
{
System.IO.FileInfo[] WDFileInfo = WDDirInfo.GetFiles("*.*", System.IO.SearchOption.AllDirectories);
foreach (System.IO.FileInfo FI in WDFileInfo)
{
ListViewItem itmLog = new ListViewItem();
itmLog.Text = FI.FullName.ToString();
itmLog.UseItemStyleForSubItems = true;
itmLog.SubItems.Add("Veilig");
itmLog.ForeColor = Color.Green;
itmLog.EnsureVisible();
results.Add(itmLog);
string path = FI.FullName.Remove(0, 3);
Files = (Files + 1);
Size = (Size + FI.Length);
}
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
}
if ((DateTime.Now - lastReport).TotalMilliseconds >= 25 || results.Count > 30)
{
this.bgwInit.ReportProgress(0, results);
results = new List<ListViewItem>();
lastReport = DateTime.Now;
}
}
}
try
{
System.IO.DirectoryInfo WDRootDir = new System.IO.DirectoryInfo("C:\\Windows");
System.IO.FileInfo[] WDRootFileInfo = WDRootDir.GetFiles("*.*", System.IO.SearchOption.TopDirectoryOnly);
foreach (System.IO.FileInfo FI in WDRootFileInfo)
{
ListViewItem itmLog = new ListViewItem();
itmLog.Text = FI.FullName.ToString();
itmLog.UseItemStyleForSubItems = true;
itmLog.SubItems.Add("Veilig");

itmLog.EnsureVisible();
results.Add(itmLog);

}
}

{
this.bgwInit.ReportProgress(0, results);
results = new List<ListViewItem>();

}
this.bgwInit.ReportProgress(50, results);
}

List<ListViewItem> items = e.UserState as List<ListViewItem>;
this.lstFiles.BeginUpdate();
foreach (ListViewItem item in items)

What a freakin horrible thing to do. yuk - You are going to need elevated permissions to see some folders. There are hidden and system folders that are not generally available to your app!
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity

I figured that out, but do you know a way (if it is there) to do this?

There is a good reason that these folders are kept secure. Can I suggest you look at a different approach.
What is the reason for indexing the files? Beyond a googlesque search app I cannot see a reason.
Panic, Chaos, Destruction.
