I've provided you a link with source code. Use the formula
in the printf statement inside the while loop.

char str[] = "Your string goes here";
char * pch;
printf ("Looking for the '#' character in \"%s\"...\n",str);
pch=strchr(str,'s');
while (pch!=NULL)
{
printf ("found at %d\n",pch-str+1);
pch=strchr(pch+1,'s');
}
pch is the required string.
