Hi all,

i have a excel files,

i want to divide into known number of small files.

for example::
if original excel file have 10000 rows,and we want to divide it in 6 parts.
its means create 6 files those have 10000/6 row in each file.

but the serial of copying data in small file not according to serial it must be on random basis.

means 10000/6==1666.67

any 1666 row of original file write in any other excel file.

please tell me how can i do this.

if possible please provide me any example.

You could use BasicExcel - A Class to Read and Write to Microsoft Excel[^] to deal with excel files (I'm not sure if it supports the 2007 format files, but works with older ones).

The math part, of course, you should do it.

Useless.
Simply copy one of the numerous Microsoft COM samples to parse Excel files

Having looked at some of his previous messages it seems that he has some kind of "I-have-to-contradict-everybody-just-for-the-sake-of-it" disorder.

I just saw his posts. I'm not able to see him answering any queries, but majority of his posts are made to tell that the answers given by others are bad or "useless" in one or the other way. What a jerk!

Thanks Rajesh, I was looking for just such a sample. Strange I couldn't find it searching articles with "Excel C++" Confused | :confused:

Hi All

suppose i ve a class

class BAse
{public:
virtual void f();
};

class derive: public Base
{
public:
void myFunc();
};

in this case vtable ll be created for derive class or not?

Rearranging to make it compile

You may verify that the virtual table is, of course, created.

Of course it will create, if one parent class has atleast one virtual function.

It'll have a vtable, but it may be the same vtable as the base class, as no virtual methods are overridden in the derived class.

Hi Experts,

Please help me in this issue..

I need to zip a folder (working in vs2005). i have tried a lot used SHFileOperation() to copy files. But copying to a zip file is not yet worked. Please suggests the other ways to do it.

You could use one of those several options out there:

LZMA SDK[^]

Zip and Unzip in the MFC way[^] (If you're using MFC)

ZLib[^]

You could search Google and find many more.

Hi All,

I am filling numbers in a listBox.

}

the output is like

Can anypne tell how to get the numbers in order and not like this..

Remove the 'sort' style of your list box and everything will be alright.

Can u please be bit detailed on what u mean by Sort?

By default, Visual Studio sets the LBS_SORT style (forcing alphabetic sort) when adds a Listbox control to your window. To remove it, in the Resource View pane, select the Listbox and then set the Sort property to False.

As opposed to what?

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
