Oh.. sorry... now I realize what my answer would mean. you are right, sir. I actually meant to say that the scope of variable aaa is not confined to the 'for' loop and hence it would retain its value for each iteration of the inner and outer for loops.

Whatever fancy language he uses, he definitely needs a good C tutorial (every man needs to feel the thrill of the real thing, sooner or later... ).

Hi,
I'm working in MFC and have a problem with files that are used by my app. At opening time my app open some files and set's the readonly property to them. Everything works just fine if the app doesn't crash. If the app crashes the files remain readonly. My question is... in what wya can I catch some kind of messages or something when my app crashes and then reset tfe file attributes to previous state?

What do you mean by "debug only one function" ?
You can set a breakpoint into this function and step line per line with the F10-Key
