I'm not trying to convert multibyte to wide. I'm trying to convert standard ASCII (US single byte code) to Wide = Unicode.
I'll look at that function in case it will do this too.

hi all i want to make application that takes the path of executable and execute that exe on remote computer through the WMI or RPC i had searched a lot on WMI that do so but i had not found any example that take the executable path n execute that on other computer,there were examples of using the query but not what i want.help is welcomed.

How to change the font name, font size, or font color in Static control designed in VC6 with Win32 Application Envionment not in MFC. The Static control is created by CreateWindows command.

You can use the LOGFONT structure. Initialize the members and pass it to CreateFontIndirect.
You would need to send the message (WM_SETFONT)to the concerned window for reflecting the changes made to the font.
SendMessage(hWndStatic , WM_SETFONT, (WPARAM)hFont, MAKELPARAM(TRUE,0) );
