Could be that GetCommProperties and Set.. will let you set this, it may append the 'latency' variable as below ...
WORD wSize = lpCommProp->wPacketLength = sizeof(COMMPROP);
if(!GetCommProperties(m_hPort,lpCommProp))
|
|
|
|
|
MFC reg edit function use..
FTDIBUS - LatencyTimer (DWORD - 16 (default))

As far as I remember (it's been a long time I didn't use RAPI), it is the opposite (see here[^]): from a desktop application, you are able to perform actions on a Windows CE device which is connected to the desktop computer.

Did you include the "ceutil.h" header file (which should be on your include path) ?

Where did you put those libraries ? They should be on the library path.

Did you include it in the file in which you are calling 'CeGetDeviceId' ?

You should also add the path to these libraries in "Poject property->Linker->General->Additional Library Directories".

By finding the files with explorer, and taking careful note of what path (ie directory) the libs you are interested in live.
It's less complicated than you thought... (I hope!)

Experts,
I want to use DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback.Audio calss in C++, but which head file I should include? which lib file I should reference?

Novice,
It's been 3 1/2 hours since you posted. Have you found the information by reading the documentation? Or are you waiting for someone to give it to you?

Cannot find "AudioVideoPlayback" in DirectX Documentation for C++, so it seems we can only use that in managed code.

Have you checked if the connection is being closed somewhere prematurely in your code while it is still being used?

Is there any way of knowing the windows of a process. I want to write a win32 program that will tell if a process has any visible window or if a window minimised to system tray.
|
|
|
|
|
GetWindowThreadProcessId will give you the process id of a window.
You can do EnumWindows to get all visible and hidden windows.
I don't think you can do it the other way around.

bool AxControl::CreateOleClientInstance(CLSID clsidActual)
{
clsid = clsidActual;
AfxEnableControlContainer();
pDoc = new COCXDocument();
pDoc->OnNewDocument();
pClient = new COCXClientItem(pDoc);
CoInitialize(NULL);
pClient->CreateNewItem(clsidActual);
pClient->m_lpObject->QueryInterface(
IID_IDispatch, (void**)&m_lpObjectdispatch);
return true;

As My application is Build in C++\CLI, and I was using MFC code in that, the application name was not set. To fix the Assertion, I used
afxCurrentAppName =(LPCTSTR) "Dummy App";

If you check out the documentation[^] you can see that it returns an CMDIChildWnd pointer...could that be it?
