The DDK is available from Microsoft. It comes as part of the MSDN subscription. I am not sure if you can download it without a subscription nor whether it is available alone. Try searching for DDK on www.microsoft.com[^]
Hope this helps you out.

I'm currently using a sample code can send text as well as image files as a attachment along with the Outlook Express mail.
However, my current requirement is to send image files that are embedded inside the mail and not attachments. I tried to create a code for this but of no success. Could someone give me some tips regarding this. Else if you have the sample code for the above, I would be grateful if you would send it to me.
Another problem I have is that when I send an HTML file (this file contains an image file inside it) as an attachment with the mail, I observe that only the html file and the image link has been sent to the recipient. I don't know a way to send the image file also with the html file. Please enlighten me regarding this.

Does anyone know how to compile GUI programs in Visual Studio using wxWindows, i've tried everything but i cant get anything to compile, it wont recognize the header files. Does anyone have a solution?

What do you mean, "wont recognize the header files"?
Do you mean that it reports them as not found?
If so, then you will need to either
(a) change the project settings (Project/Settings, C++ tab)
category 'Preprocessor', add folder containing wxWindows headers to the 'Additional include directories' box.
or (b) Add the appropriate directories to the system-wide settings
Tools/Options, directories tab.
You will probably also need to add the lib folder too, unless wxWindows is purely template based (like WTL), or you'll get link failures.
If you go for option (a), remember to do this for ALL targets, not just Debug or Release, or when you build different versions, you'll have to do it again!
Hope this helps

Hello everyone,
My question is how to change the font color of slide.
I have Automated PowerPoint Using Visual C++ MFC,such as:
_Application app;
Presentations presentations;
_Presentation presentation;
Slides slides;
_Slide slide;
ShapeRange shaperange;
Shapes shapes;
Shape shape;
TextFrame textframe;
TextRange textrange;
Font font;
FillFormat fillformat;
ColorFormat colorformat;
ShadowFormat shadow;
if(!app.CreateDispatch("Powerpoint.Application", &e))
{
CString str;
str.Format("CreateDispatch() failed w/err 0x%08lx", e.m_sc),
AfxMessageBox(str, MB_SETFOREGROUND);
return;
}
app.SetVisible(TRUE); Presentations presSet(app.GetPresentations());
_Presentation pres(presSet.Add(TRUE));
Slides slideSet(pres.GetSlides());
_Slide slide1(slideSet.Add(1, 2));
// Add text to slide, by navigating the slide as follows:
// slide1.shapes(#).TextFrame.TextRange.Text
{
Shapes shapes(slide1.GetShapes());
Shape shape(shapes.Item(COleVariant((long)1)));
TextFrame textFrame(shape.GetTextFrame());
TextRange textRange(textFrame.GetTextRange());
textRange.SetText("My first slide");
}
{
Shapes shapes(slide1.GetShapes());
Shape shape(shapes.Item(COleVariant((long)2)));
TextFrame textFrame(shape.GetTextFrame());
TextRange textRange(textFrame.GetTextRange());
textRange.SetText("Automating PowerPoint is easy\r\n"
"Using Visual C++ is powerful!");
font = textrange.GetFont();
font.SetName("Comic Sans MS"); //Set the font name.
font.SetSize((float)48);
}
Now the question is how to change the font color????
Help me,please!!

Hello everyone;
I want to use .rpt files in my mfc project;
When my app is running;
please give me a link to a good article
about crystal reports.
Best Wishes;
Thanks.
|
|
|
|
|
To do this, you need a copy of Crystal Reports. With that comes a series of DLL files (CRPE among others) and a report designer. You can use objects (via COM) or call the DLL functions, and CR comes with on-line documentation that demonstrates the functionality you want.
