In my MSDN (April 2001) the various links(local) are not working properly, most of them have a rectangular square with a dot in it just before the link (such links appear on web pages with missing images) clicking on such a link displays a dialog box with message

A runtime error has occured
Do you wish to debug?
lineBlush | :O
Error:Object doesn't support this property or method.

I have reinstalled MSDN, and internet explorer but the problem is still there?
this issue is only with MSDN, web browsing is fine.
how can i fix this?
