HI
I'm beginner in C++ Builder, And need to know how I can read from textbox or richtextbox.
And how I should draw Function like (y=sin(x)), IN VB usually drawing is in picturebox,
but I'm not very familiar with C++ structure. I need the source code, cause I Havn't enough
time now to learn it, I should learn it later. if you can guide me.

Can you help me to correct or make them working?
you can say where or what compiler is more match.
And how i should get text from editbox? or separate operand from numbers & function (sin), I Have acode that do it in dos .exe how can i convert or attach it to my win app??
i Have problem with delete key down of my message!! it give error!

Can you guide me get MSDN?!!
When i press F1 in my V.studio it say ishould install it but it is not on my cd I search it in my local area but couldn't find. Is it big for download?
Once I setup WINXP that said had MSDN (WIN XP 2001 MSDN Ver- iThink was it Title). Even I don't know what is Msdn exactly.
when I setup V.studio in last step I have to cancel MSDN setup offer.

For your problem, if you don't give us more details (errors you encounter, if these are compile errors or crashes, ...), we won't be able to help you (nobody here can read what's on your screen  ). Just one question: are you using an application with MFC (Microsoft Fundation Classes) ? Otherwise, this won't work because the controls on this website use the MFC (and I suppose in Borland, they are not available).

I work with VC++ 6.0 with MFC and unfortunatly I have not always internet connection for help and Not even compiler help!
It give me request for install MSDN but I couldn't find it(it is not on my cd)

Usually, it comes in a second CD.

From MSDN online help:
"The Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) is a set of online and offline services designed to help developers write applications using Microsoft products and technologies..."
It's normally added to your PC when you intall Visual Studio but if you can't install it you can find it at http://msdn.microsoft.com/[^].

I Have not an always online connection . and it is not any cd in my
local area that has it.my local internet is too slowe,with heavy filtering and some extance expensive (about 1$ for 2 hour Espicially distance calling) any way can you help me get an callback membership from where

there is a problem seemed to be with my visual studio, because whenever i execute my( any type of ) VC++ project, it gives an error of
"error executing cl.exe"

Do you have enough access right to execute the program?
Check if the program "cl.exe" is in your "bin" directory of your visual studio installation.

I am the Administrator, so I have enough rights and I've seen there is a file named cl.exe in my ..\vc7\bin directory.

Maybe there is something wrong with the command line. What does the output window say more?

did you well closed all the processes you've just generated previously ?
i mean that maybe you're trying to recompile (and so rewrite) an exe file that is already running...

First use GetClientRect() api to get Client Rect of your Application then using StretchBlt() stretch bitmap on screen

Hello my fellow programmers,
I am currently in the process of developing a new application and I am using Visual C++.NET. I want to explore using the Dundas Gauges to use in Visual C++.NET and I don't seem to be making much progress. Does anyone have a sample application I could look at.
Also if it appears that Dundas gauges aren't the way to go, could someone refer me to a more suitable reference libarary.
Also while I'm a born and bred SDI MFC man obviously I am always open to other options. Is there a good guide on Windows Form programming they could refer me to.
