HI Guys,
I have created a dialog and placed two buttons on it with the owner draw property set to true to show the bitmap on it using LoadBitmaps.On the dialog I have placed a picture control with some image.
Now when I run the application the picture control is seen with the buttons behind it. When I take the mouse to the location of the buttons the buttons become visible.
I want the button to be shown as soon as the dialog is displayed.
What is the problem and how can it be resolved?

This is because the picture control is overlapping the buttons.
The last control that gets painted here is the picture control hence it paints over the buttons.

Are you making a splash screen?
If so why don't you simply BitBlt to the dialog.
If not bring the buttons up the Z-Order using SetWindowPos .

Thanks for your time guys.
But I got how to do this.
I would like to share the solution with all of you.
Set the Transparent property of the button to TRUE . That is all.

How to call a java class from win32 api?
|
|
|
|
|
|
and why would you do such a thing ?
a java class is compiled for byte code, not for processor assembler...

And I think also that java code needs a virtual machine no ? (I don't know java so I'm not sure at all).

What do you want to do by calling a java class into your code.
This seems very irrelevant.But if you can give a bit of detail about the things you want to achieve by doing this some one here can help you on this.

if you need to all files you can use FindFirstFile and FineNext
but if you want to multiselect use OFN_ALLOWMULTISELECT
OPENFILENAME ofn.m_ofn.Flags in function GetOpenFileName
Hope I understood your question

Hello everyone,
I find that _stprintf is defined to swprintf. And in the prototype of swprintf, the 1st and the 2nd parameters are both wchar_t. I think the other parameters should also be w_chart type, but in some situations, I always find others use char* type (which seems not unicode character type) as the parameter, like,
--------------------
// buffer is wchar_t* type.
_stprintf (buffer, L"%s", (char*)pointer);
--------------------
Definitions from Microsoft,
--------------------
#define _stprintf swprintf
_CRTIMP int __cdecl swprintf(wchar_t *, const wchar_t *, ...);
--------------------
Can we use char* as the 3rd parameter? If we can, why can it (non-unicode type) be compatible with wchar_t type (unicode type)?
thanks in advance,
George

actually, _stprinf() is defined to swprintf() only if UNICODE is defined in your project. if not, then it is defined to sprintf() .
so, instead of using L"" literals, prefer using _T("")
