hi

i have a application to view the directories and folder
when i click combo box.

can u say how to use dlgdirlistcombobox in detail

From the MSDN[^]

It looks like you just call it with a path and the ID of your control. It seems to know how to populate it.

here's a code sample from the MSDN

Hi all ,

i used the IsUserAnAdmin() def in Shell32.dll to find out if a logged in user is an admin or not , it worked fine on XP , but fails on Vista , on Vista , even for Admin it returns false Frown | :(

Can anybody help me out ?????

I bet you have to deal with UAC to find out what you want on Vista.

Yes it is!

OSVERSIONINFO osVersion;

Hi all,
I got a small trouble, If some one know how to do please tell me, many thanks.
I want to assign szData value into textBox->Text, but two kind of variable different type.
I used Visual Studio 2005, and deverloped VC++ language.

private: System::Windows::Forms::TextBox^  textBox;<br />

Do you want to change datas on the listctrl when you select an item of Combobox?

Map the CBN_SELCHANGE of the combobox and do the updations of the list control in the mapped function.

If you want to get with a statement see DlgDirList but I suggest use of FindFirstFile/FindNextFile/code>.

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
