I gues she was talking about the arrow down key, and not button...

HALLO and thanks for the answer, i have the followinbg code in the view.cpp file:
BEGIN_MESSAGE_MAP(CTest_View, CEditView)
ON_WM_LBUTTONDOWN(OnCursorLine) // this should get if the user pressed the return or the up or down arrows
END_MESSAGE_MAP()
// where should i handle WM_KEYDOWN event?
CTest_View::OnCursorLine()
{
if(nChar==VK_DOWN & nChar==VK_RETURN)// how can i get the value of nChar?
}
When i start ma SDI application and press the Return or arrow up/down the Debuger does not go to the OnCursorLine ().
What should i do?

Hi,
From u r words it is not clear what u want to do? and from which control u want to get the notification, ie CListCtrl, CButton
And the Handler code must be in the source file of class derived from CFormView/CDialog.
thanks
Jose Jo.

Hello,
I need to write an parallel algoritm in C/C++ under linux using gcc, to calculate an linear sistem using Gauss-Seidel algorithm.
Can anyone help me? Or give me a point to start?
Thanks a lot!

See Gauss-Seidel[^]. I bet you haven't searched though.

I searched but I didn't found what I needed. Indeed, your code helped me, but my problem is to find an algorithm that will work on two cores. I will try to modify your code.Thanks

Hello!
It's not my code; I just looked up Google.

What about Googling for (6th item looks promising...) [^]?

CFrameWnd::SetMessageText

I love work. It gives me something to do between weekends.

can u please explain where should i override the OnIdle()?
i overrode it in the MainFrm.cpp and tried to Debug but the Debugger did not went to it.
|
|
|
|

That must be done in your CWinApp derived class.

it did not work it needs CWnd object.
|
|
|
|

Create a custom message handler in CMainFrame class.
From CWinApp::OnIdle do a post message like AfxGetMainWnd()->PostMessage

Could anyone explain for me what these code doing? Could give me an example ? thanks
typedef union ieee_754_single_precision
{
BYTE bytes[FLOAT_BYTES];
float value;
IEEE_SBITS bits;
} SIEEE_754;
void cHARTTransmitter::Float2IEEE(float fDecimalNum, BYTE *pbIEEE)
{
SIEEE_754 local;
short j = FLOAT_BYTES - 1;
local.value = fDecimalNum;
for (i = 0 ; i < FLOAT_BYTES; i++)
{
pbIEEE[i] = local.bytes[j--];
}
}
Float2IEEE((float)m_data, Data);
|
|
|

It's converting a float from little-endian form (presuming this code is running on an x86/x64 PC) to big-endian. Let me add comments to your code:
typedef union ieee_754_single_precision
{
BYTE bytes[FLOAT_BYTES];
float value;
IEEE_SBITS bits;
} SIEEE_754;
void cHARTTransmitter::Float2IEEE(float fDecimalNum, BYTE *pbIEEE)
{
SIEEE_754 local;
short j = FLOAT_BYTES - 1;
local.value = fDecimalNum;
for (i = 0 ; i < FLOAT_BYTES; i++)
{
pbIEEE[i] = local.bytes[j--];
}
}

Hi ,
I am creating a dialog which is resizable , i have set the property of Border to 'Resizable' which make my dialog resizable . But i am not able to show a 'Resizable Image' on the bottom right corner of the window.
Generally we see these images when we open Internet Explorer in the bottom right corner.
Please provide some comments
