The message is suppose to warn the user that he will not be able to see a message if the lid is closed

I use visual c++ 6.0 enviorment. The primary file which contain main() is 555.cpp. I also wrote two functions in r.h and r.cpp. I want to call these two functions in 555.cpp. However, it always show some errors. Is there anyone who can teach me how to fix this problem? Thanks

The declarations for the functions AA and BB aren't got by compiler, plain simple.
For the second issue of not getting r.cpp to compile, go to solution explorer, then choose the file r.cpp, right click, choose c/c++, choose precompile headers, Choose "Not using precompile headers".

Hi All
I developed a MFC extension dll which has English resources in it.
I want to incorporate French resource to this dll. I am using this dll in my main application.
The resources loading from this dll should be controlled programatically.
(ie, In English OS it should load French resource or vice versa)
I have come across the following code
/***********/
HINSTANCE = LoadLibrary("MyDll");
AxSetResourceHandle(hinstance);
/***********/
But It is not working in dlls (Inside DllMain()).
How can I do it dlls?
regards
Jafi.

You can't do much from DllMain() , and you certainly can't load other DLLs. Read the docs on DllMain() , they describe the restrictions.

Hi
I have developed a dialoged based MFC application and I want to alert user when network cable is unpluged? Is there a way to determine when a network cable is unplugged? (I mean to say in the same way as Windows system tray icon for network changes as soon as we unplugg the network.)
I want to run this programm on Windows 2000 and WindowsXP.
I think there must be some events occuring while network cable is unplugged. I want to know how to get such event or something like that.
Any link or help........?
With tons of thankx...

Thank a lot Alok
But what I think is, for this I have to use this function in certain time interval to check if my network cable is plugged or not? And I don't want that.
I want something like event which tell me whenever network cable is unplugged. I think there must be some events occuring while this happens and thats the reason why windows knows it and shows the icon accordingly in system tray.
Thanks again
Mahesh

Who Said that you have to check at regular interval!, iSensNetwork is a disinterface, i.e.just query the interface, make a handller for event function and wait for event to happen.. there nothing like querying at regular interval

How do I find if a font is installed in the system or not? There is no API like BOOL IsFontInstalled(LPCTSTR szFontName);
Thanks

Thank you so much. I will try this and see if it helps me.
p.s. Your new signature is better than previous. But it still is harsh on the eyes. Why not light blue color? Just a suggestion

AFunc is a member variable, that is why youa re getting that error.
Can you consider making AFunc as static function?
