Hi all,
I'd like to remove the the standard buttons ( _ [] x) from the window. But I need the have the window icon. If remove WS_SYSMENU style, as you know, I won't get the icon too. How to make it possible?

If you want to do this at design time, all you need to do is to set the properties accordingly. But if for some reason you need to do this at run-time then this is what you need to do. Override OnCreate() and add this code to it.

an exe have a main() (or WinMain()) function as an entry point, so that when the OS launches it, it knows where to start executing the code.
a dll is a library. it provides a set of functions, classes, resources, but can't be directly executed.

Hi all,
I am getting the above error, when I execute my application in the setting: "Release - Static Library - Code Generation - Multithreaded".
In debug build (Debug - Static Library - Code Generation - Multithreaded), I get this error in CView::DoPrintPreview -CDialogBar::Create(..) - _AfxCheckDialogTemplate(lpszTemplateName, TRUE). This fails.
I've written in my OnFilePrintPreview as in MSDN.

Windows CE (if i don't say a silly thing) is for embedded plateforms, so the some of the apis are not supported to reduce the OS weight...

Have you looked into the clipboard API:

Did anyone use 3rd argument in random_shuffle.
As I start the project for the first time it always sort the array the same way, I wonder if 3rd argument will help

Yes it would allow you to provide your own randomising function possibly with something a little more random than the rand() function.
You say it always sorts the same way, did you forget to call srand() first? Faliure to do this would cause the same random numbers to be be produced. A common method is to call srand(time(NULL)) though it's been a while since I used it.

no I didnt call srand(time(0)) before random_shuffle().
I thought it was useful only before rand() function call?
Does random_shuffle() use rand() function for generation? And it does not call srand() initialization in it?
If somebody knows how to paste custom function into 3rd argument?

I'm guessing that it would use rand() given that it's already in the libraries and that your output is always the same. It wouldn't make sense if srand() was called on your behalf since you would never know what is being passed to it.
Did calling srand() work for you? you didn't say.

yes after calling srand() before random_shuffle() it randomize sequency differently with every run

This is also called explicit linking.

basically :
- compile-time (or compilation) is when the compiler take each .cpp (or .c in C) files to create the relative .obj.
- link-time is when the linker links every object files of the compilation to generate the project output.
- run-time is when you execute the program...
