Hi YaronNir
I was not able to compile your code b'coz I am using an older version of .NET (2003)
However I went through your code and found the line underneath that would be the cause.
Try replacing
pdlg->Create(IDD_DIALOG1);
with
pdlg->Create(IDD_DIALOG1,this);
Does this solve your problem...

Hi,
I am using following code in VC++ application to read the file.
System::IO::FileStream* fsFileContennt = new System::IO::FileStream(dlgUploadFile->get_FileName (),System::IO::FileMode::Open,System::IO::FileAccess::Read);
BinaryReader* brFileContent = new BinaryReader(fsFileContennt); System::String *str = brFileContent ->ToString ();
Actually i want to send( brFileContent) this data to ActiveX control(VC++) and display in Text box (Since file contains parameters). I am using BSTR* type variable to receive this *str variables.
Now how can i get my data in ActiveX control(VC++)?... Will it work out else provide me alternate solution..
Thanks in Advance.

Hi
I want an Operating System hook. Like, when deleting a file OS generates a message for confirmation. I want to trap the event before OS capture the event. Can any one help me in this matter? Any source C++ or vc++ or Api / article?
Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for the ICopyHook interface?

Thanks for your response. ICopyHook works for folder, not for file. I want the same functionality for fle, what ICopyHook does for folders. Please guide me.
Thanks and regards

Not actually ICopyHook. I am looking for a system/interface which perform the same functionality for file, what ICopyHook does for folder.

I think what you are looking for is ShellExtension rather than a HOOK.

May somebody tell me please how to make an application support right to left languages such as Arabic and Persian?
So the application must present the alphabet of the intended languages in the dialog controls, and in MessageBoxes also.

1.First Thing you need to do is your entire code should be in UNICODE.
2.Since VC++ does not provide The East Asian language by Default.
Thus you will not see them in the language drop-down list on the first page of the MFC AppWizard.
However, you can find them in the Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\msdev98\bin\ide directory on the Visual C++ CD as follows:
Language AppWizard DLL
Japanese APPWZJPN.DLL
Korean APPWZKOR.DLL
Chinese (simplified) APPWZCHS.DLL
To take advantage of East Asian language support:
3.Copy the appropriate MFC AppWizard DLL to your Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\msdev98\bin\ide directory. This DLL can be found in the corresponding directory on the Visual C++ CD.
4.Install the appropriate code page on your system.
Have a Look over this article for CodePages
