I am trying what you said, but it doesn't work yet.
I set the datatype of the session.sessionID as nvarchar(MAX), but i am not sure whether i am right or wrong. I can input the sessionID into my database on the design page, but when i go to the shopping cart page, there is a big problem, says "Input string was not in a correct format", and "Source error: An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below".
So what can i do now? change the sessionID datatype to the uniqueidentifier?? but i think i did try, but failed as well.

Open what? Outlook? Outlook Express? Or are you trying to get at an SMTP/POP server in your own code? ...

One method would be to use the API function Sleep. In a module class, make a declaration as such:
Public Declare Sub Sleep Lib "kernel32" Alias "Sleep" (ByVal dwMilliseconds As Long)
If it is Public, you will be able to call the function from anywhere else in the program. When you want to use the function, just call Sleep with the number of milliseconds you would like the delay. The link below is the MSDN description of the function. It mentions alternative methods if needed.

You know in games you have a console like where you can run commands and things like "echo test" and the console promptly replies "test", how would i go about coding this in vb.net. i have no idea where to start, and its fundamental to this game. any ideas would be appreciated

Hello All,
I had wrote a small piece of code in Visual basic 6.0 and MS Access 2000.
In Access I have 1 table tbl_expire it includes from, to and amount columns.
from - 01/09/1993 to - 31/12/1998 - Amount - 300 - date format is dd/mm/yyyy
from - 01/01/1999 to - 14/01/2000 - Amount - 275
from - 15/01/2000 to - 28/02/2001 - Amount - 250
from - 01/03/2001 to - 28/02/2002 - Amount - 225
If user enters like - 01/05/2000 then I should get Amount 250, but I am getting 275.

That is because you are comparing the dates as strings. If you examine the result that you get, you see that you actually get both 275 and 225.
If you want the comparison to work, there are two things that you can do. You can compare the dates as dates, or you can use a date format like ISO 8601, i.e. yyyy-mm-dd, that is actually comparable in string format.

FULL JUSTIFICATION IN RICH TEXT BOX CONTROL IN VB.NET
I am developing a small application for document movement by using RICH TEXT BOX in VB.NET. Thix box is meant for inputting by user any text. The text can be formatted in almost all maner, like RIGHT, CENTER and LEFT ALIGNED. However, I want the text to be FULLY JUSTIFIED (BOTH SIDE) too.
Can anyone suggest me how to do it ? Please respond as it is very urgent, I will be grateful.

I have a slight problem. I need items on a collection (or list) with an index that doesnt change. Right now i have a collection, and i am trying to add an item to it using a key. my code:
