Looking at your sig I would suggest Partition Magic (<in_a_lower_voice> otherwise use yast2 </end_lower_voice>). But remember that no such software is fail proof.
btw do a full defrag first.

I haven't used PM yet but I have tried a few others and they say up front that NTFS is destructive.

I always to a backup in case, but I have had some luck resizing FAT32 and was hoping I wouldn't need a full reinstall

I have successfully resized NTFS partitions under NT/2K on multiple machines using Partition Magic 6. I created the Boot Floppies from the CD and then (obviously) boot from them and off I went. It all worked perfectly, but that doesn't mean you won't have problems.

I've doen this with Partition Magic 7.0 twice with no difficulties. But I'd recommend doing a full defrag first and backup if you can.

Dear all,
I am using ADs to get user information from a ADs Server(win 2k).I need to get email address and department etc. But it seems that Win2k does not support this even you can config it manually on ADs Server.
Is this right? is there any ways to do this?
Thanks for any answer.

I'm feeling a bit brain dead at the moment. Can someone remind me where the configuration for all the programs that are auto run at startup is stored please? Thanks

Hello,
I am working with WinXP since several months, without any (real) problem. However, since a few weeks, WIN+E to start Explorer doesn't work any more. WIN+F, or +R, or +L is still working. And as you can see the eeeeee are still working too .
How can I find out which program is eating WIN+E or why does WinXP not recognize those keystrokes?

A long shot but have a look at this key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Miget be some restrictions in there

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, Mazdak, but check into the SMTP server you already have on your system. It should have been installed by default, though it may not be running.

It should be in the IIS Console. There's very little info about using it (search on 'mail.chm') but I'm not sure what you're asking for in particular. The SMTP service gives you the capability for sending, receiving, and relaying emails for various domains you enter, but has no user interface of its own.

Thank you Roger.I'll check it.The thing I exactly want is for SQLServer mail. For SQLServer mail I have to have mail server defined on my computer.

I think that will do it for you then. Read the documentation and see what you can make of it. I don't understand it particularly, having not spent much time on it, but I think that it's probably exactly what you need for SQLServer Mail. If I understand what I read while skimming through it,you can set it up to handle mail from multiple domains, yei they make the distinction that a mail domain is different from a host domain - I don't quite get that, but maybe it will make sense to you. Good luck!
