I have a problem in java script...
in asp.net i have a repeater.. in that repeater i have some controls and a dropdownlist.... i am showing message if user select 0 index...

1.
i am trying to write an asp.net application,
i have created a db and got my web app to connect and retrieve data.
i have also created a report using crystal, however when i click on the print icon, nothing happens,
it also did not display the icons but i have manage to sort that out.
any ideas why the print icon does not print?
2. i have also tried a work-around to the above by adding a pritn button and printing.
but this prints directly to my default printer.
any idea on how to pop-up the printer dialogue box for printer selection.

Hi,
I am using ajax dynamic populator to populate data by calling service method from
javascript .I am getting webservice call failed:500 message.can i add any retry method in
javascript to call the service 3 times if you are not getting any response or this call
failed exception and a custom message 'please try again' if there is an web service
exception.thanks in advance and waiting for the answer and thanks once again.

I am working on an assignment where a Project Manager (PM) gets the task of picking Approvers (Appr).
This I could easily do with the Default Sequential WorkFlow if I was allowed to split it into two workflows:
1) PM picks Appr
2) Appr approves
Unfortunately the customer insists that this should be a single WorkFlow, so it is possible to see in which of three stages the WorkFlow is:
1) Waiting for PM to pick Appr
2) Waiting for Appr to approve
3) All approved
I can get the first two stages working using a While activity waiting for the PM's task of appointing to be finished. But I can't find out how to let the PM assign tasks to Apprs which also get to trigger anything on the original workflow.
Any hints...?

I downloaded the trial version of dreamweaver cs4, but to my dismay , I do not have the NEEDED requirements. (Since when do they restrict you from installing it anyway!?!)
What I'm looking for is a decent alternative editor to dreamweaver, can anyone give me some links or product names?

hmmm. Well, thanks for the link. I don't really care a whole lot for any of the editors described. I guess I'm just spoiled to dreamweaver, and had my hopes to high, lol. Thanks anyway.
P.S. Would it have helped if I mentioned that I'm looking for WYSIWYG editor? Just a thought...

Hi,
hmmm don't know if I understand your question correctly. You need a button where to click on and this will open a specified image?
Redirecting to another Page is done by Response.Redirect("Url")
Could you be so kind to provide your question by describing each step of the interaction you want to achieve. (e.g. 1. user clicks on button x 2. image y is shown etc.) (makes a bit easier for us to understand your problem)

Hello,
I am trying to write some scripts to send emails from a php script.
I have a windows 2003 server.PHP 5 and APACHE 2.2
I have no clue about SMTP and how to set it up.
I understand I might first need to set up a SMTP service(please help me in doing this) and then configure it and use the PHP script.

Hi all,
I have one doubt , i have one buttons 1.NO in this buttons onError event i am calling one function agent_available().
if i click on NO button if agents are online means i want to display imagebutton1(chat image) that time imagebutton2(oops error image) is disble position.
if i click on NO button if agents are not online means i want to display imagebutton2(oops error image) that time imagebutton1(chat image) is disable position.
how to do this with in one function.

Use AJAX,
When user clicks on NO button, it send a server call to check status of Agent.
It may return true/false. Depending on this value render Image of Control.
I think this may solve your problem.

Are you looking for the code to check if agents are online? Or are you looking for code to disable and enable image buttons?

Hi all,
If anyone can please help, is there a way to derermine if a certain application or font is installed on the client pc.
In the case of the font: Barcodes are generated but the barcode font on the server is not displayed on the client pc.
Is there a way I can determine if the font is installed, if not it should be downloaded and installed.

You can check for the certain application like SKYPE.
They provide there JS file, that can check whether it is installed on PC or not.
Try searching for Using ActiveX with Javascript. It will help you.
