u can use the indexing service, it will help u..it is so easy...u will be able to search for any word with a simple select statment

i am writting an application that prints a very lengthy page in java. Since the page is not enough for job the buffer has remaing job but printer doesnot ask for paper feed. Is there any page or printer attribute that can be set so that printer may ask for paper feed. I am using Toolkit and printjob class . Please can anyone help me. Thanks in advance

Okay i know this is a real simple question but i just don't know how to do it. I want to have a vertical scrolling bar that stops when all all the text is displayed. Any help would be helpful.

Hi,
How to retrieve a value in [TEXTAREA] in an aspx page?
Normally it is easy, drag and drops the textarea in aspx page and it is work. But in this case, I generate the html code manually () and put as literal html in the aspx page. How to do for retrieving the value in my textarea without define a variable (runnat server) in c# code?
I thought this code retrieve all controls and value in all tag inside the Form tag, it is not the case.

Hi,
You are missing the name attribute, e.g.
<textarea id="TEXTAREAcoucou" name="TEXTAREAcoucou"....
When you post a form off to the server, it is the name attribute that forms the key/value pair that you can access through Request.Form["TEXTAREAcoucou"].ToString()

i have two frames: one with a button and another with a textfield. I need if I click the button in first frame a letter/word must appear in the textfield (which is in an another frame).

Every once in a while i come across websites that hide their extensions, and have 'different' ways of expressing parameters to a URL than what i'm used to. E.g. "www.somedomain.com/38896O51d93b015ef98a0b/play?g=1668370" or "www.somedomain.com/iyt.dll?a?s=1&g=15300019557591&m=13"
First question: Is the purpose of this to help prevent hacking? That is if the hacker doesn't know what technology is being used it is harder to hack?!!? Or is there another reason?
Second question: How can i do this?

They do this because the page (or file) you are looking for is in a database.
And in the case of music, many sites do that to prevent you from illegally downloading the music.
So to answer your question, yes it is sometimes done to make it harder for hackers. And sometimes, it's just because their page is dynamically created from a database.

hi
i have two dynamic list/menus on a web form that need to be synchronized,
when an item in the first list menu is selected, the second list menu needs to be loaded with items related to the item that was selected in the first list menu.
im not sure which event in the first list/menu should fire the sub procedure required to load the second list/menu with the appropriate records and where should this sub be called??
im using an access database for this site..

I'm having a problem and being that I'm very new to Javascript I need to ask for help. I wrote a script to grab the time, grab the time and display it in a text box with an onclick command. Ok thaty part was easy but here's the problem. I need to display the time twice but it needs to be different. I'm using the first .js to load the start time of a project and the second one to populate the stop time. The issue is Date()lets a value on load and I can't figure out how to refresh Date()so the end time is different than the start time.

Each time you create a date object it should be populated
with the current system time.
var startdate = new Date();
var stopdate = new Date();
These will both have different times etc.

The last stat I read (I believe it was w3c actually said only 2% of people don't have javascript enabled)
That being said...the javascript required for what you want to accomplish would likely be 100% browser compatible...with any real browser.
Other than using javascript...I can't see that as being possible...perhaps embedding a form inside another form...but that would cause your submit buttons to probably be one on top of the other(no side by side, unless you position absolute or something)...and it might break xhtml compliance...i'm not sure...
