Hi
I have a project that when a certain event occurs in the websit a report is generated
with crystal reports and then loaded on another page which opens infront of the parent page,
is there some way that i can disable the parent page while the child page is still loading , without using
a modal dialog .??
A proplem I've encountered with the modal dialog is that when i want to print or download the report another page opens when I click the export or print button on the reportviewer.

I am getting this error in my browser when I debug my site, code is at the bottom.
The build works and no errors show in the 2008 web developer, yet this shows up when I try to view. I don't understand because if I was missing a reference that contained 'SearchYouTubeSource' wouldn't it show an error ? Anybody can explain this for me? Thanks
(By the way I know I have no a href links in my body)

Hi All,
Can any one help me for the following please.
I have an image on Main page this image is a link to the popup page. Wehn you click on the image it shows you a popup page where you can do some actions, I am asking user to insert some information into the database on this popup.
Whenuser insertes a record I need to change the image on main page i.e if Image souurce was image1.jpg I want to change it to image2.jpg.
Any ajax , c# or Javascript code will do to me.

If you have an id assigned to your <img> tag, such as <img src="image1.jpg" id="foobar">
You could execute certain code on a onclick or onblur event:
<a href="#" onclick="changeImage()">
The javascript code itself would be:

maybe you could use the DataSet.Tables.Select() method. There you can pass a string (select-stmt) to get all rows matching the passed criteria.

I searched a lot on Internet but failed to find any .net installed that can configure itself in TOMCAT.
Server Installation Requirements:

I don't think, .net will work on Tomcat. You can search over internet for a compatible installer.

Embedded objects run on the client side, so the supported formats depend on the codecs that are installed on the client's system. The best solution to this is to simply use a standard format such as MP3 or WMA so that it plays on all systems.

what you are trying to implement is a enumerator. You could use the enumerator of the DataRowCollection.

I have developed a dll in .net. I am displaying the object in an aspx page with the following code:

I have the IIS set to scripts only. And I have the Mime type set.
Once the website is deployed, the object is displayed properly only on the development machine on which I developed the app.
From any other machine, the object does not load. I have adjusted all zones to be fulltrust...just to try to get this to work.
I was hoping someone would have some idea of where I might begin to debug this problem. Thanks

Hello folks,
I am working on Delphi since more than a week now.
Since then I have been trying to consume a web service created in C# .NET using a Delphi desktop application.
Can someone please help me with the issue I have here:
My web service has two methods:
1. One doesn't take any parameters & returns a text data.
2. Takes a string parameter & returns a string data.
My problem here is, I can call 1st method without any problem, but when I call second method, I get nothing out of that method. Same two methods work absolutely fine in C# .NET.
Can you please help me out, I can't find any way out of it.

Hi,
if I understood you right the problem is, that the parameter you pass is null for the second method. Maybe there is a problem with filling the SOAP-request for the second method. Check the wsdl of your service, how the request must look like (especially the parameter) and then try to use a tcp-monitor to check if your delphi application puts the passed string in the correct field of the request.
I'm just guessing, so I hope this helps you a bit.

Aehm, well and the errors are? What kind of errors do you get? Compiler, runtime? Maybe the textbox and the label are not declared. Same with the getIDSimple-method.

haha well they were ---> are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference? and not in current context
but I knew I had all needed references/dll in my bin
I found out at work later in the day why, I should slap myself
they all started with lower case, I had uppercase 
(I have another problem I am posting soon, maybe I can get some help with this one)
