Just a simple question about running a website in debugger mode. I have a website that I am testing using VS 2005. The site project is open and on a specific webpage I hit F5 to start the page in a browser. All code (including custom DLL's) are compiled and the page is then opened. The compiler for the webpage throws a warning because I have an asp:TextBox with a onchange event defined for the client-side script that is used to enable a couple of buttons ("Warning: Validation (ASP.Net): Attribute 'onchange' is not a valid attribute of element 'TextBox'."). The problem is that this warning is annoying since I know that I want the script the way it is. Which comes to the question. For a website how can I configure my project to ignore these warnings or is there a simple way when the page is being built on the server that I can add this event to the object (similar to GetCallbackEventReference)? By the way, the page works fine as it is defined with this warning. The issue comes when I have done this to 15 objects and I also have errors and/or additional warnings. Sorting through valid warnings and errors within these warnings takes additional time.

On top of the Error List window there is 3 toggle buttons (but, they don't look like buttons) - Errors, Warnings and Messages. Click on the Warning Button to toggle warnings On/Off.

Hi,
I have this program that I'm trying to compile and it flags this error:
The type or namespace name 'src' could not be found(are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) I've tryed to look for a .dll called src I can't find it. It's only a folder called src that I find. Am I missing something?

public src.controls.cont dngchart;
here is the line that has the error 'src' is a folder where 'control' folder is found and in control there are six .ascx files where by cont is one of the .ascx files.

It does not matter, in which foldere your class is, it matteres in which namespace it is

Hi,
I try to create a SoapExtensionAttribute, but when I try to add a web reference the SoapExtensionAttribute don't be insertede in a client proxy side, what I have to do to add the SoapExtensionAttribute in the client proxy side when I add the web refenrece.
ps.: I can't put the soapExtensionTypes in the app.config because in the current project has another web services from third-parties, and I implement a SFDE but don't work.
Any ideia?

I am currently migrating a web project to from Vs 2003 & .NET 1.1 to VS 2005 and .NET 2
For various reasons after the compile of the web project I need to copy all DLL's from the bin directory to an alternative location. Under VS 2003 this was simple and has been working for years.
However it would seem that amoungst all the other changes, this has also changed under VS 2005. The primary DLL for the web project is no longer found in the bin directory (although references are). Does anybody know where it is?

Pretty sure it's wherever you told it to put the website (\inetpub\wwwroot\...\bin, etc.)
Of course, that's only if it's pre-compiled; otherwise, it doesn't exist 'till the ASP.NET runtime gets around to creating it.

You would have thunk, however for code behind that isnt the case.
After some hunting around it seems what actually happens is that each of the cs files in the app_code directory is compiled to its own dll. Interestingly this dll name is not fixed and on each compile it changes. This might not be entirely correct, information is sketchy to say the least.
Now this is all well and good for a web app that uses all the typical Microsoft mechanism for build, release and install however it is an utter show stopper for what I am doing.
Having said all that, all is not lost. VS2005 SP1 reintroduces the .Net 1.1 style "ASP .NET Web Project" which compiles to a single DLL in the bin directory. A lo the crowd went wild.

This folder is src it contains a folder called controls and in controls
that's where one finds an object and I think It's a graph because the
code looks like this.
