In JSP you can use classes behind your jsp files. (A bit like ASP.NET) I think with ASP you can do the same. This way you can create a validation class and call the object in all pages.

You can include an asp page in another. Add the include at the top of the page.

You can put this at the top of each page, even write a small script to rip thru them to do it. you can include as many as you like.

<!--#INCLUDE FILE="ValidationTwo.ASP"-->
Whatever code is in these files is now availible to the page that it is included in.
By the way, why have all these different pages. make one page that displays sale items after Looping thru a database.

Maintaining this must be difficult. You can have one page that displays sale items just change the Stored procedure or query, depending on what is requested.
Anyway, hope me offering helped.

You can change that, but some table have different fields than other. How can you solve the display for that, other than make each page for each module. But, thanks anyway for your opinion.

Hi All,
I'm attempting to center three div layers within a tabbed view, I'm using a function that was written by a co-worker which is great but I cannot find out were to callout the "resize" within the code.
Here is what I have for the function:

Now! where do I plant the resize method within the code. I've tried to center these layers by surrounding with a table and centering through the "center" tag but the layers always snap back to the left.
Any suggestions would be great.

Hi, Im trying to find some resources on making config changes to IIS when installing my web app. Specifically I add a new application mapping to pass .swf extensions through aspnet_isapi.dll
Anyone have any links/info on this. I just want to write a .NET Installer class for this task to add to my setup project.

using 2003 server -
ISAPI extension extracting several headers from the request
and write them to a txt file ,
the problem is (after debugging the extension)
the createFile returns INVALIDE_HANDLE_VALUE
and the getLastError() = 5.(access denied)
the txt file's location is right next to dll (cause he is creating it);
i have opened the folder's permissions to everyone and still same error
createFile param:
"headers.txt",FILE_ALL_ACCESS,0,NULL,CREATE_ALWAYS,FILE_ATTRIBUTE_NORMAL,NULL
i have tried various manipulation on this method's param
but without any success.

I start a new project. Create a new html page with multiple frames. I now want to link the frames to an asp page so I can use the code behind functionality. I have tried to create seperate asp pages then direct the frame to that asp page but I get an error. The VS complains about

My scenario. I have a left frame with a search button that is querying using Microsoft Index server. Here is the html for it in the left frame

Each frame element should have an ID attribute, e.g. ID="right" and ID="left" to allow scripts to differentiate between them. The onclick script returns HTML text which should be structured to include the attribute Target="right" - I'm not sure how to do this, since you haven't posted your script, but it must be easily done. For an easy cheat, view the source from the Microsoft MSDN website and follow the example of how they implement it.
On the other hand, you could get away from frames entirely, since they are deprecated elements that most developers consider obnoxious. Look into the positioning elements of CSS for a more robust solution that is supported by more browsers than just IE.

try to use folllowing example.
As you said, your frameset code is some thing like following one
<frameset cols="20,*">
<frame id="left_frame" src="left.htm">
<frame id="right_frame" src="right.asp">
</frameset>
now you are posting your values from left frame right, and you want to load results in right frame, right
now try to use following <FORM> tag in your left frame page
<fomr id="frm" method="post" action="right.asp" target="right_frame">
now look at here, I am targeting frame action to right frame by using the right frame ID which I have declared in the frameset code.
I hope now you can go with it

I am trying to finish this csv import page, I can currently import files that are located in my C or D drive but if I try to import a file from my desktop I keep getting the error 'File Not Found'. Can anyone help me on how I can address the file from my desktop or network.
I am currently submitting the address from a file-field in a form
then using this code to read the file:
