combobox item background Pryzrak1-Jul-09 20:42 Pryzrak 1-Jul-09 20:42  Hy everybody. I have a combobox containing some items. When an item is selected, there are some operations that are to be done. If there are many items in the drop down, there is no way to simply view the items for which the process was completed. I need the functionality to color the items that were done(or change the text color, highlight them in a way). So you should create a win32 smart device project here. For interprocess communication the easiest sollution should be the message queue interface. Look up CreateMsgQueue in MSDN. For Pocket PCs you also need to install the Windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK. The WM6 Classic SDK is for Smartphones. Developping such application with Microsoft Studio in C# shouldn't be very hard if you're alrready familar with C++/C# programming. Yes, C# Smart Device is alright. You will need to purchase a third party component to do this (assuming you don't want to make your own word document loader from scratch). Assuming you are using C# you can just use the POOM classes to retrieve and create contacts on a phone. Once you become familiar with it your remaining task would be to create a web service that you would use for retrieving and saving contact information. I have used the PIC32 family and decided to try it. I copied all the C code from the authors website into MPLAB and tried the code to see if the output matched the author's first 1000 random numbers with the test seed. However, my numbers aren't matching up. The first two random numbers I get are 0x202783B6 and 0xB3173E1E. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this or seen any articles about using the MT on a PIC Micro. BTW I am using the MT19937 version. Thanks in advance.
