i have trouble solving the problem below, am new to programming, so people please help.
Problem
Create a simple Maze game. You must submit multiple iterations where each iteration is in its own directory and has associated structure charts, pseudo code, and flowcharts as required.
This game is played as follows:
1. The maze contains a number of Rooms.
2. A room has a title, a description, and a number of doors which lead to other rooms.
3. Each door leads in a direction (North, South, East or West). Tthere can be multiple exits in one direction.
4. One room is the goal or target, the game ends when the player reaches this room.
5. A player starts in the starting room, the first room declared in the maze, e.g. room 1, although this could be a parameter in the data file.
6. The player is shown the title and room description of the room he is in, as well as a list of exits, from which he can choose one to take.
7. When the player goes in a direction (through a door) he is in the next room, and step 6 above is repeated.
8. The rooms for the maze are read from a text file. The following map is for the accompanying text file.
9. The format of the text file is as follows:
a. The number of rooms (int)
b. The goal room number (int)
c. For each room
i. Room title (string)
ii. Room description (string)
d. Number of exits from rooms (int)
e. For each exit
i. From room (int), to room (int), direction (char, separated by spaces on a single line)

hi Everyone
i am doing project on GSM modem using AT commands in VC++ programming.
I am not getting how to send,read and receive a sms from GSM modem using AT commands.I am opening port and connecting modem.it is working.But i am not getting how the message shold me send to particular
persons in the list.whether i have to write a function for AT commands or wt.if it is so then tell me how can i do it.

I've just starting in VB.NET and would like to know if someone could help me out with a minor issue I have.
When I use INPUTBOX(), the textbox is shown on the screen but the text message isn't.
Anyone would know why ?
Again, must be something very easy.. just new to this .NET world

Not sure what text are your referring to by the line " the textbox is shown on the screen but the text message isn't".
Are you talking about the Prompt, Title or the Default text?
The code below worked for me:
str = InputBox("Prompt", "Title", "Default text in the textbox")

I created a Mobile application (C#) for windows mobile 5, and also a custom downloader, I used OpenNetCF.ORG's desktop communication library to bulid the downloader, it has support for ActiveSync in it.

For .NET CF, check the Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Status namespace. The status is actually stored in a registry key and I actually figured which one a few weeks ago, but can't remember since I didn't end up using it.

you can use TableStyles:
For Example:

Hello chaps,
I'm using eVC++ for a project (basically because it's free!), and I'm getting a little stuck on a few things. Firstly I'm playing around with GAPI, and while I've got it to work, it's not exactly fast - it's a 2D application; and my code will probably need optimisation. But the big question is that given I'm using eVC++, is this the best way to go? Or is there a more uptodate way, given that GAPI is now "deprecated".
Secondly, I'd also like to add a picture to a contact. I can understand the examples given on here and elsewhere about getting a contact and editing things such as the name, or the address, but when it comes to the picture itself, I can find nothing. It's not in the IContact structure, so any pointers to this would be great!

Hi, I am developing a PDA application on Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK. I am using Visual Studio 2005 and C# as language. I need to play video files (.wmv) with WMPlayer 10, but I do not know how to do it. Anybody can help me? Any code examples?

But it might also be possible to use ShellExecute (available from NETCF2.0) on your media files like the example below:

Do you know any WMPlayer control for Windows Mobile 5.0? The OpenNETCF does not work well with my pda. Do you know another though it not be free?

Why would you not like to use the Windows Media Player to open the media files?
To run windows media player to open a file, use the code below:

If the Enabled property of the Input Panel is True, the panel is visible and if False, it is hidden.

The article in MSDN says following lines: -
This function switches between kernel and user modes.
This function is no longer supported as of CE 6.0.
'SetKMode' is not supported for Win CE 6.0 whereas Windows Mobile 6.0 is based on Windows CE 5.2.
So my question is whether we cant use 'SetKMode' in WM 6.0?
