anyone please help me
I am designing program in which the program has to convert a pay slip generated (programatically) to .pdf . The thing is the data required for the form is taken from database and is captured in a PAY SLIP format(.aspx) , which is then convertd (the pay slip generated) to .PDF
My questions are
how to capture the screen (.aspx), containing the payslip generated , and convert into the .pdf ?
can .aspx screenshot be converted to .pdf (pay slip) ?If no how do I convert the .aspx to .html (with the captured data from dtabase) , such that I can convert .html to .pdf (I have a third party software to convert .html to .pdf)
may please help me
any mistakes above may please excuse me

there are some examples of this being done but I dont know any good ones to recommend. Check this thread out though it appears to be discussing your problem

Hi All,
I have created a XML Web Service with ASP.NET 2.0 . it is working fine with the client application in my local machine,but when i uploaded to the server which is having asp.net 2.0 framework,webmethod return an error called
"Method SessionCreate can not be reflected"
I am unable to find this issue since it is working fine in my computer(which is also having asp.net 2.0)
can any one help me to solve the issue?

Hi,
I m using a gridview in which in an item template I have placed an dropdown and one textbox.
I want to fill the textbox on selected index change of this dropdown box. the value for the textbox will come from database.
I tried to write code on selected index , rowdatabound event, row command but cannot get the desired result.
can anyone help me out??

For SelectedIndexChanged event you need enable the AutoPostback property to True. Have you done that?

Hi all,
I am using Visual Studio 2005 and .net 2.0. I want to scroll down the listbox items according to the value in the textbox entry. For example, if we type "a" in the textbox, the listbox entries which starts from "a" should be listed. Is it possible with dropdown list control? Shall we add items to dropdownlist controls at runtime? Please guide me.

Yes
or you could sort them by the letter a. A query would help you here so that when you populdate the dropdownlist from the database you can select by and order by the letter 'a' for example.

You can use javascript base XMLDOM approch (AJAX) to achieve the task

hi i have a grid and that having a linkbutton when i click open a new window through javascript and page is refreshed by javascript than which window i close through javascript reopen. if i click once on this link and refresh than also open last window which close after closing by me by javascript. if i do another work than not open but open on refresh when i click on this link how to remove this.

There are plenty of good site searches out for indexing. Microsoft Indexing Service is a good one. If your website is database driven then you could query the database rather then the html code.

try using substring function.
var mstr='str1<=1';
mstr=mstr.substring(0,mstr.indexOf('<'));
Now mstr contains only str1.

Hi,I am developing an webpage.In my webpage there is a textbox.In onkeypress(javascript) event of textbox,i am showing some data.It works fine.But when I press backspace key it doesn't work.
Suppose I pressed 'A' key then all the records starting with 'A' should be shown.And when I delete 'A' using backspace, all the available data should be shown irrespective of what it is starting with.

use onKeyUp, and trap only backspace key by checking event.KeyCode
when keyCode is for backspace the call the required function
