Here i am trying to convert grid data into pdf format.
when i am running i am getting the following error.
Acrobat reader
'File does not begin with %PDF-'
Here is my code on button click event,on page load i am filling datagrid(dg) with data

Me.EnableViewState = False

Can anybody solve my problem.
i want to write griddata into pdf format.
i am using .net 1.1.

I THINK..... you cannot convert the datagrid information to PDF directly. we need some third party tool

Hi Friends
I want to set an image that it is in the ImageFolder In Root of my web
project to an Image control(Image1) in codding :
Image1.ImageUrl = Server.MapPath("~/ImageFolder/fl_61.jpg");
But is's not set !
I Should say that if I set the same image with the ImageUrl Property
it's work succesfully.

In both way :
1-Image1.ImageUrl = Server.MapPath("~/ImageFolder/6ib7k9.jpg");
2-Image1.ImageUrl = Server.MapPath("ImageFolder/6ib7k9.jpg");
The Image Control affect but not Open the image !

lesae check image path by right clicking image and seeing property and check the path

hai.
currently i m using asp.net with vb (2.0 framework).
here i have created a gridview and values has been populated.
for the column starting from 3 (the end column, i will specify in my
for loop), i want to make the values as hyperlink, so that if user clicks that link it will redirect to a particular page (all links will redirect to same page). here the columns which is binding to gridview is also dynamic.
So how can i achieve it?

Hi.
I've used a flash menu in my web page, but when viewing the page, when mouse goes over the menu a white border appears around the flash, and its buttons are not clickable.
but when once clicked on the menu all become normal. I set the border of it 0, but nothing changed.

Dear Friends,
I am frequently come across error called "System.OutOfMemoryException".
whent this error come I need to restart my server.
I search on google it suggested that iis memory get full.
My concern is what cause this memory get full and how to avoid this error.

Generally the cause of this is:
Reading large data sets into memory.
Creating excessive cache entries.
Uploading or downloading large files.
Excessive use of regular expressions or strings while parsing files.
Excessive view state.
Too much data in session state or too many sessions.
Maybe if you are using Reports it may sometimes eat up the whole memory. Increase the memory of IIS and also do optimisation to your code so that you dont use much of your server space ....

Your application might be written poorly. Some tips
1 - Avoid using DataSet/DataTable for reading data. Use DataReader and fill your custom collection classes.
2 - Use paged results
3 - Always call Dispose method on types which implements IDisposable. You can wrap it inside a using block which calls Dispose automatically when scope ends.

The error is thrown from oracle. Please check if the query you have prepared is running
on actual oracle console or not.
