HI
AS I Have Told U Earlier...
The Biggest Diffrence Is The Structure Of ur page :
Css Can make No more Diffrence In That Look
U have to just Follow Everywhere Wherever u want to use Table.
So Next Time Remember 2 Things
Don't Use Framework 1.1, U can use 2.0[Amazing] :->
Don't USe Tables or Panels Anywhere, Use Everywhere Where u need Table.
Believe This I have Faced This Earlier :

Hi to everyone.
Following is my doubt:
Working with asp.net and web references I often used a tip to configure on the fly my web reference and it's timeout, with two parameter in the web.config file, and making a little change to the auto-generated reference.cs file.
When starting with VS2005 and Asp.net 2.0 I was very happy that now this feature came in an automatic way.
But the reference.cs file are created in the paths:
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\[$APP_NAME]\...\...\Sources_App_WebReferences\....
So, my question is: It's possibile to set the environment in such a way this file can be added automatically under my solution?
In this way tracking and making changes to the code will be more simple.
Thanks,
Aniel

I am developing web parts for an application. I have all the web part zones inside of an update panel, but this doesn't really exploit the capabilities of the update panels. Is there a possible way to have each webpart in its own update panel.
I really need a code example of how to do this.
Bye

Hi,
1: just click on exe and start it. Is it working fine ?
2: if yes then just write below code. Put yr exe in c: drive.
Process prs = Process.Start("Exa path");
Thanks,
Sun Rays

Hi,
if you are able to see the form when clicking directly in exe then there must be some problem of your web application from where you are running the Process.
Also check window form proepry if someone has changed it.
Chekc its opacity too.
Thanks,
Sun Rays

Why ? Do you think this will appear on the client machine ?
|
|
|
|
|
this will run only on the server machine...
UI comes to desktop on windows xp but it is not coming on 2003 server...
|
|
|
|
|
May be for security reasons 2003 server might not allow the user to run the exe file.

Yes. So why do you want to start a windows application from ASP.NET ? Your question doesn't make any sense.

LDAP (Light weight directory access protocol) is a protocol for accessing directory services. Basically it is used by companies to keep employee information. Most of the big companies having LDAP servers. So if we are writing an application which works on companies intranet, instead of adding all the users to the application database, we can use LDAP server and authenticate the details.

Actually i did and i wrote some thing but is generating an error
what i wrote is
<br />
Public Sub GetAllUsers()<br />
Dim sServerName As String = "mail"<br />
Dim oRoot As DirectoryEntry = New DirectoryEntry("LDAP://xxx.com")<br />
Dim oSearcher As DirectorySearcher = New DirectorySearcher(oRoot)<br />
Dim oResults As SearchResultCollection<br />
oSearcher.PropertiesToLoad.Add("mail")<br />
oSearcher.PropertiesToLoad.Add("givenname")<br />
oSearcher.PropertiesToLoad.Add("cn")<br />
oResults = oSearcher.FindAll<br />
For i As Integer = 0 To oResults.Count - 1<br />
If Not oResults(i).GetDirectoryEntry().Properties("mail").Value Is Nothing Then<br />
Response.Write(oResults(i).GetDirectoryEntry().Properties("cn").Value & "<br>")<br />
End If<br />
Next<br />
End Sub<br />
this function runs normaly for few users and i can get the values then it crashes. the error generated is "The specifies directory service attribute or value does not exist". it stops on the if statement beneath for loop.
Why is this error generating?
How can i filter so that only active users appears?
thanks

You should check whether this property is exist or not.
if(de.Properties.Contains("mail"))
Please try the link that I gave you.

While using the Master page,ASP.NET give client id at runtime .
Look at the view source of your page and check the id of textbox.
OR another better way is to send id from server to client while calling the javascript function
TextBox1.ClientId will give you client id
Thanks and Regards

Not a clean approach. You could use something like document.getElementById('<%=TextBox1.ClientID %>') , so you don't need to worry about the name which is rendered. Your solution will make problem if someone changed the masterpage name.
