enable or disable form elements not working in firefox

hi,
i want to enable a html element while the checkbox is in checked state.The following code works fine in IE but not in Firefox.

...

and my script is.......

function findselective()
{ if(document.getElementById("findOption").checked==true)
{document.getElementById("findBy").disabled=false;
}
else{
document.getElementById("findBy").disabled=true;
}
}

Pls help me to solve this problem.

Can you change the "findBy" to "findby" ( small letter "B") and try again??

I have tested with the code below. I works well.

function findselective()<br />
{ <br />
  document.getElementById("findBy").disabled = !document.getElementById("findOption").checked;<br />
}

iam using file upload control to upload the file but when iam selecting the zero bites size file then i want to get the message that u have selected zero bytes file how can it be possible.

Hi...

See basic rules are simple..

for range.. of characters use [ ]
for repeating the characteres use { }...
or undefined times means use *..

eg: [a-z]{5} -- means...

5 characters from a to 5

What's wrong? Why not buy a book - it's great, you get a handy paper based reference which you can take anywhere. The book "Mastering Regular Expressions" here[^] is a great place to start.

You can't remove cookie. But you can set the expiry time of the cokie to a date which is less than today's date, and add that cookie again. Browser will think it's an expired cookie and will be removed.

How did you store those different items in a cookie? As a cookies can store only one the name and value pair, you can't create the multiple name/value pairs in a cookie. but if you are storing the comma seperated values (e.g. 1,2,3,..,i) then you can change the value ..

Hey guys, I'm developing a website for which I want to create a control which holds two containers. The control must be placed in the toolbox, and dragged onto a webpage (or user control) from the toolbox. I was thinking to inherit from System.Web.UI.WebControls.CompositeControl.

I want the control to hold two containers (panels) which can be filled with the controls the developer wants. Is it possible to create a control which holds multiple controls? What's the correct approach?

I have declared two panels and exposed them via public read-only properties.
