Hi,
i want to create one option for importa nd export outlook contacts from my asp.net web page.One of the way to retrive the contacts is,

MyOutlook.Application oApp = new MyOutlook.Application();
oApp.AnswerWizard.ClearFileList();
oApp.ActiveWindow();

MyOutlook.MAPIFolder oContacts = (MyOutlook.MAPIFolder)oApp.Application.ActiveExplorer().Session.GetDefaultFolder(MyOutlook.OlDefaultFolders.olFolderContacts);

foreach (MyOutlook.ContactItem oContact in oContacts.Items)
{

Response.Write(oContact.Email1DisplayName);
}

How should i export the data to outlook.
Pls help me if u know anything related to this.

The core code in this article for reading the data from Outlook isn't platform-specific. You can use it in a Windows or ASP.NET application. Obviously you will have to write your own front-end, but this is trivial.

-Hi All,
-I need to callculate an age, Which is entered in a text box.
"This thing I need to do without postback the page."

-This thng I can make with postback the page but I need it done on the spot when entered a date to a perticular text box and the next moment the Age should be calculated and entered in the another text box.

-So something like javascript or anythig that can do so....
Please help.

try this code

var entered=new Date(date1);
var one_year=1000*60*60*24*365;
var no_of_days=Math.ceil((current.getTime()-entered.getTime())/(one_year));

you can write the code inside a function and pass the date as a string.

Hi all,

I am using aspnet 2.0 with C#.NET as language. Can any on pls help me out generating an init event . I saw some articles which say directly write a n event in code behind as

protected override void Page_OnInit()
{
....
....
}

but it gives an error Error DBControls.Page_Init()': no suitable method found to override..

what might be the problem?

I found that the link you provided explains init event for ASP.NET 1.1. I am familiar with it. I m searching for ASP.NET 2.0.

Do you want to display that image in the page?
if yes just set src property to html image.

<img src="foldername/imagename.jpg" />

while inserting iam sending datas with image, like each product have one image..so datas storing in db table.. images storing in a folder....so now if i give the condition than datafield with perticular image has to be displayd in a new file.

you should have runat="server" for the div then in code behind do this

divid.Style.Add("display","none");

Hi I m new to asp.net.I m using .net with vb.net. I hv a cookie in which items are added. For Example I hv 10 items added to cookie like router = 10, modem = 8, usb = 5, .....

Now I want to removie only usb from that cookie. How can I do that. Pls help me, its very urgent. Thanks in Advance.
