Dear friends,
I am using ASP.NET 2.0 with C# and MSSQL2000

When T try to import System.Transactions namespace,it shows error like

Error  1   The type or namespace name 'Transactions' does not exist in the namespace 'System' (are you missing an assembly reference?<br />

why this is showing?? Frown | :(

This is working fine in another downloaded sample application ...
Be very grateful for any advice.

Ajax is a concept that allows you to go to a server to retrieve data and to publish it on the page without a full page refresh.

To navigate from one URL to another just use Javascript location.href = 'otherurl.htm'

hi this is the code for show the download dialog page code.it works well.but my requirement is just open.but it shows open/save/download.it takes lot of time.
i need when we click on the link then open the page .
plz help me to solve the problem.

You can't avoid this. AFAIK it is in built security. You wouldn't want any application to run on your machine when you click a link would you? This ensures you know what is behind the link you have clicked and therefor your responsibility to run. I don't believe you can turn it off.

Hi,

I am using Dunda's Charts in my asp.net application. I want to refresh two charts on selectedindexchanged event of a dropdown ddlmovie. I have written the code:

if (!IsPostBack)
{
ScriptManager1.RegisterAsyncPostBackControl(ddlMovie);
ddlMovie.Attributes["onchange"] = Chart1.CallbackManager.GetCallbackEventReference("ddlMovie", "NA");
ddlMovie.Attributes["onchange"] = Chart2.CallbackManager.GetCallbackEventReference("ddlMovie", "NA");
}

But it refreshes the chart2 only.. i want to refresh both the charts... Any solution...

it is because the way you arr adding onchange (only second onchange will occur)

try this
if (!IsPostBack)
{
ScriptManager1.RegisterAsyncPostBackControl(ddlMovie);
ddlMovie.Attributes["onchange"] = refreshCharts();
}

private void refreshCharts()
{
Chart1.CallbackManager.GetCallbackEventReference("ddlMovie", "NA");

hi All

Am using Vb2003, and am trying to create a Web service, whe i try to Create one Project, i have ASP.NET Version issues, the Errors is as following

Visual Studio.Net has detected that the specified web server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1. you will be unable to run ASP.net web Application or Services.

Check the properties in IIS. There is one option to set the version of .NET framework.

did u install IIS after Framework , then please Reinstall Only the Framework ...
Goto Framework command prompt and run "aspnet_regiis -i"

Goto .NET console and type aspnet_regiis -i which will install ASP.NET on IIS

HI,

I am in a big problem please anybody help me.....

Of the user is session timed out then nobody can enter the system until IIS restarts....I got this message from my clients..the code that i used is given below.

I think you can write the code for redirecting in Session_End event, isn't it?

Authorization Problem

I am creating a web application.
I need authorization by page level.
Means without login user cant get ang page.
For that i am using code in web.config file
My Login page having some CSS and Image.

</authentication>

<authorization>
<deny users="?"/>
</authorization>

If I Use This Code, I am unable to login and also all CSS And Image on the Login Page is not working.

Any one help me to fix my problem.
