hi friend
when i have load dynamically dll references to this code:-
Dim asmblyload As System.Reflection.Assembly = System.Reflection.Assembly.LoadFile("C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\UccpLibrary\Bin\Uccp.dll")
then error occurred
The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131018)
anybody tell me what is solution of this error. help me.

Hi,
I am using >NET 2.0 and I have a gridview in which I want to display the role ID and name. I am using the membership and role provider.
I have an object data source, but I think I am using the incorrect method:
<asp:ObjectDataSource
ID="odsRoles"
SelectMethod="GetAllRoles"
TypeName="System.Web.Security.Roles"
runat="server" />
What method do I use to get the role ID and name?
Here is my incomplete part of my gridview:

<asp:TemplateField HeaderText="Role">
<ItemTemplate>
<%# Container.DataItem.ToString() %>
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:TemplateField>
</Columns>

Try this code <%# Eval("FieldName")%> Instead of <%# Container.DataItem.ToString() %>

What is FieldName, the table name?
|
|

What is a RoleID and Name?
both Are your field Name.
use One of them as fieldname to display values.

Fisrt Of all You have to add Custom Control DLL in ToolBox.
Right Click on ToolBox-->Choose Items-->Click on Browse in DialogBox-->Add DLL of Custom Control and Apply.
Your Custom control will be added in ToolBox now You can drag and drop that control in your web page.

how to create & modify .dll in asp.net 2.0?

Create a project of type "Class library" and add your code. Visual studio will generate the DLL in the "bin" folder of your application on successful build. Any changes made prior to a rebuild will be included in the modified DLL.

it shows data from a table having columns Sid, Sname,....
I want to hide the sid column from vewing in gridview but use its value on selecting a particular row.
how to achieve this...
I used mygridview.columns[0].visible= false;
but it gives :

use gridview.DataKeyNames property for fetching data from it.
use gridview.DataKeyNames = "sid,... and more";
bind your grid.
and for fetching it use
string id = gridview.SelectedDataKey["sid"].ToString();
or
string id = gridview.DataKeys[0 or 1 or 2 or 3 or ...]["sid"].ToString();

int index = str.IndexOf(" "); // get the index of the first space
str = str.Replace(" ",""); // remove all spaces
