Hello guys, can anyone help me create my own hit counter in aspx.
I jus need to knw how many people accessed my page.So Im gona hv a counter on each page.

for this purpose use the application state variable and on every session start of a user, increment the application variable and decrement it on every session end. This might solve your problem.

No this won't. This will give the number of users visiting the site, not page hits

Assign a unique id for each page and store the details in DB. When page loads, increment the entry. If you can store the IP address of the specified user, you can avoid re-inserting the same record when user refreshes the page.

hi
i want to use three flags.in if condition.first two are run but last flag==2 in that pointer is directly go to outside.
when i select date that time blank record is display.and i aiso checked that date is available in database.
so guide me.

You have declare flag=0 and thats why the first condition always executes.
You have to also set flag in if condtion
something like this.

Then you can find the exact problem.

i debug it .
but when i select security code that time flag=0 it is run and display record.
else i select analyst name that time flag==1 and code is run and display record.
else i select date that time flag==0 again.
and already i declared flag==2;
then how?

Is your control goes inside all these conditions when you checked with break points ? Try to explain clearly what happened when debugged ?

when i checked with breakpoint that time control is go inside only first two conditions.
when i check 3 rd condition that time control is go again first condition not third condition.
and so date is not searched.

That means that time flag is 0 so that the first condition executes

When you checked the third condition, what was this dtpFrom.Text returning ? I guess it's a blank value, right ?

What is ur requirement, what i could percieve is u have u have one ddList and two textboxes now tell me what u want.

I have three level depth for tabs in web user controls with in master page.i want on click on links given in first level, loads the second level web user control , and on click on any link on second level control third level tabs bar should be loaded with in master page....how can i do this ?
