Hi all,
I'm working on a web service application on asp.net, so far it's fine.
I want to start a process, actually VNC server using a user click event. How can I do that. Actually I don't want to stick on one, going to use cofig file to find the which process I want to start?
Please can you guys help me?

Hi,
As i am expecting this error "Validation (Internet Explorer 6): Attribute 'MS_POSITIONING' is not a valid attribute of element 'body'."and also while iam switching to design mode then on all the controls "Error Creating Control" is visible. Can anyone provide solution for this one.

Did you import the code into Visual Studio from a different program, or an earlier version of Visual Studio?
I think that it was VS 2003 that supported absolute positioning of controls in the designer, a feature that was later dropped. Markup code from such a project would contain non-standard attributes that would show up as invalid in the validation in VS 2008.

its working fine, in IE but not working fine in Mozilla.It not showing center align.where as in IE it showing properly.

That is not a problem with Mozilla, that is a problem with Internet Explorer.
Mozilla is rendering the page correctly, while Internet Explorer has a rendering bug that makes it apply text alignment to block elements eventhough it shouldn't.
You can't use text-align to center block elements. Set margin-left and margin-right to auto on the block element to center it.
Oh, and don't put "urgent" in the subject line. How ever urgent you feel that it is, it's still not urgent enough to mention in the subject. If it really was that urgent, you would pay someone to solve it for you instead of posting in a forum.

Now i Have to Add these All Value And find Total No. Of Hours & Minutes & Seconds .

I didn't get that. As you mentioned that you are having Time in hh,mm,ss format. So what is the problem in getting the hours from it. i.e. hh reprensents hours and you can simply separate it from the time given.

Turn those values into TimeSpan values, representing the time span from midnight to the time given. Then you can easily add them. Use the Hours, Minutes and Seconds properties to get the result. Or add the TimeSpan to a DateTime value to make it a DateTime, which you can easily format into a string.
Example:
TimeSpan t1 = new TimeSpan(9, 0, 0);
TimeSpan t2 = new TimeSpan(9, 25, 0);
TimeSpan total = t1 + t2;
string result = DateTime.Today.Add(total).ToString("HH:mm:ss"));

I am not able to find control in EditItemTemplate column specially in datagrid. I am devloping Web Based Application and using datagrid in that.
I have one pop up modal in that m filling datagrid .
On that datagrid i want Textbox at normal mode and while user click on Edit button it should get convert in DropDown.
So dropdown is in edit itemTemplate Column. But m not Able to find this control.
Please help me for the same.

See I want tht control at DataGrid ItemCommand Event. But if it is possible to get at EditCommand Then also will do . But m not able to do it in any way. Do u have any idea abt that? Please Help meits very urgent.
I got the solution for gridview But i dont want to use grdiview. And alrteady my page is on Live so too many changes will be dangerous.
The problem is like ki it is taking too much time to open popup modal whn there are more than 100 rows. Because i have fill dropdown for 100 times for each row.
So that i go for this edititemtempalte column. But in that case first time textbox can find but whn i click on Edit I m not able to find drodown in adititemtemplate Column.

I am trying to call a .Net class from flex by using third party tool webORB
, i installed weborb,i created a project having reference to this webORB
virtual directory created automatically , i gone through all the security
issues and devlopement and deployment process , but when i run my
application it works fine.
But when i export release build, then run my app, it throws error message:

Hello,
I have a edit button in the listview's items template. When I try to edit one of the listed record, it doesn't edit it in 1st click but it does in 2nd click. What could cause such problem? The other question is how I can go return to runtime view of the listview after editing an item.

This is the query which i am providing in the datagrid's configure datasource "SELECT * FROM [Tasks] WHERE ([UserId] = @UserId)"
When I check the query and provide the uniqueidentifier of userid (copied from the database) it gives me the correct result. But the problem is coming when i execute it.

Well, the error message explains the error quite clearly. I can tell even without seeing the code that you are specifying the parameter incorrectly. You can't set both the Type and the DbType property of the parameter.

Dear Friends,
In my Windows 2003 server 64 bit. i have installed all required 64 bit software in that PC. Ms Office 2003 32 bit also.
While uploading excel file. it is getting error also.
Kindly advise me. what are the supporting files i have to install in my server. If it is available from any sites, please post that URL also.
If any prerequsites available for 64 bit, please post that details also.

What is the actual error you are getting? Just saying you are getting an error is not going to allow anyone to really help you. Be more descriptive of the error message and someone might be able to help you out

Does tableless html design means using DIVs with the help of CSS? Could someone point me in the right direction.

Almost. It rather means that you use CSS to style the html elements that are appropriate for what you want to do. That element could even be a table, if you actually want to display a table on the page.
Using tables to do layout once revolutionised the web design. However, that was about fifteen years ago, and the technology has moved on since then.

Adding to what Guffa said,
Pages designed using tables are slow to render than the one developed using DIVs and CSS. Many websites will have a main table which contains all the contents of that page. This is slow because browser can render the content only after getting the closing node which it gets at the end of page.
Use DIVs and CSS for design doesn't mean that you have to avoid tables completly. Tables should be used for what it is created for. If you are using tables for designing, use small tables instead of wrapping everything in a single table.
