I got that one also., but if i add another one control with that one., thats a imagebutton control., i did what u gave for that label box i did kike that only
ImageButton img =(ImageButton)e.Item.FindControl("imgbtnModel");
img.ImageUrl= "E:\rose.jpg";
first for ex: i gave like this but for this also i hv to retrieve the url frm DB., k., i vl do that one used that datarowview., but wat s the error in the above one..?

Two ways are there either you can put that in anchor tag and give href property or you can handle the click event of the imagebutton in the itemcommand event of the datagrid.

I am using datagrid in my form.
In that datagrid i'm using dropdownlist in edit mode.
So when i click on edit linkbutton , it shows the first value by default in that dropdownlist.
I don't want like this.
i want when i click on edit linkbutton of each row, it should display dropdownlist accordingly.
But in that dropdownlist it should show the value itself , not the defalt value.
If i have 1,2,3 no. in dropdownlist.
Then if in first row if selected 2.
Then while editing this row through datagrid it should show 2 selected in dropdownlist.
But it is showing 1 by default.
This is the prob.
Plz help me.

This you can do in OnItemDatabound event of the datagrid. That event gets fired for each row of the datagrid. In that event what you need to do is to find the dropdownlist and set the value accordingly.

My question is how can i pass this page whole data to another page for printing purposes? Another question is can we perform printing process in asp.net?

You can use session variables for passing the data from one page to another.
To print a page use the JavaScript function - window.print();

Why are you using two separate page for that. If it is possible then use it in same page, you can use panels for that purpose. And to put the data in session what you can do is to create an array object and then put it in session.

creating a string array is as simple as this:
string[] str = new string[2];<br />
str[0] = "apurva";<br />
str[1] = "kaushal";<br />
<br />
<br />
for(int count=0; count<str.Length; count++)<br />
{<br />
Response.Write(str[count].ToString());<br />
}
Also if you want to have a key value pair then you can use hashtable for that purpose.
