HI
I am trying to open a new window on this way
The client enter a page in the asp:textbox
The textbox.text i want to call in the HTML button to open the window
It is not opening the window

have you tried putting textbox1.text in single quotes.
But i am still unsure about "removed"  can't you use onclick event insipte of this.

If i have understood you correctly then you want to open a page which the user is entering in the textbox, on the click of the html button.
If this is the case then one way what i can sugest you is call a function on onclick event of the button something like this:
Your Html button:
<input id="Button222" style="Z-INDEX: 101; LEFT: 200px; WIDTH: 104px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: 352px; HEIGHT: 24px"
onclick="javascript:Test();" type="button" value="Open Window" runat="server" Text="Open window">

Hi,
I have a datatable returned from BL Which needs to binded to a Gridview. The girdview must have following features.
1. Paging
2. Sorting on clicking Headers
3. Sort Direction image along with header.

I have a labelbox and a text box.its ids are label1 and text1.Similarly i have 75 label and text boxes.I need to insert those values(by row by row) in table.
string std= "insert into Example Values('"+Label1.ID+"','" + text1.text+ "')";
Similarly i need to insert 75 values.
how to do that using for loop?

1.create a function which takes values to be inserted as arguments in databse to insert rows, and call that function.
*2. create a function which takes a string as argument and decodes that string into individual set of values to be inserted into the table.
(ex)if the table has 2 columns
'column1 value',column2 value'|'column1 value',column2 value'|'column1 value',column2 value'|'column1 value',column2 value'.......
in the sp get the substring seperated by | and insert into the table in a loop.
this method is recomented as it will reduce the number of calls to the databse(we only call the SP once)

Hi,
1) Construct an XML file from the front end (ASP.NET).
2) Pass the XML file as a parameter to an Stored Procedure.
3) Write an SP to read the Values from the XML and insert into table.
Sample Insert query to read from xml in SP
Insert into table1(field1,field2,field3,....,field75)
Select * from OpenXml(@intPointer,'/XML1/XML2',2)
With (field1 char(6),field2 char(3),field3 char(15),......,field75 char (8) )
Advantages:
==========
1) No need to create 75 parameters.
2) SP creation is very simple and easy to maintain.

Hi,
If you mean to publish your application then make a computer in ur LAN, the server. Publish your application there and then you can access this application accross ur LAN by using an IP address of that machine or the name of the machine like this ---
http://192.168.1.1/WebAppName/
http://ServerName/WebAppName/

Hi,
Am using skmMenu to create Menu in my page.
But i couldnt succeed in displaying it in the screen.
Am not getting any error.
But the menu couldnt be seen in the form.
Do i have to change any property either in form or in menu control?
The code i used for binidng is:

Word Doc from Database
Hi i am creating an application that help the user to upload his word documents to an sql server database
i want to bind a datagrid to the database so the user can see what he uploaded. also, when the user clicks on the document title it will load it in Microsoft Word so he can read it.
any idea how to bind the datagrid to the documents stored in the databse and how to load a document into Microsoft word?

Hi,
I appologise for my knowledge of English. I think you be able use table in data base - Name(char(50)), Data(text). Name for document title and Data for Ms Word document. For load document you be able use ASP.NET web handler's. Web handlers are software modules that handle raw HTTP requests received by ASP.NET. I be able send you sample use this handler's.

This is very simple.
1) You store the word document in a specific folder on the server.
2) Store the filename and path details to a database table.
3) Select the files information and assign to a datagrid, on the datagrid make the file name as a hyperlink.
4) onclick of the link open the file by changing the content type.
