Go to Tools then internet options.
Go the the advanced tab
Un check disable script debugging.
Then in the browser when the app is running you can go to view script debugger.
That will open into your source code if you are running the web site in debug mode with visual studio.

I have a main page. This main page contains a usercontrol. This usercontrol has another user control which contains a textbox. The text box value is set in a property.
I want the property name with the value from the main page. How can i get it?
I have tried the following:
main page.aspx
==============
<uc1:CtlGridCheckBox></uc1:CtlGridCheckBox>
main page.aspx.cs
=================
string a;
UserControl us = (UserControl)this.CtlGridCheckBox1.FindControl("CtlGridCheckBox1_1");
TextBox txt = (TextBox)usFindControl("text");
a = txt.Text;
CtlGridCheckBox.ascx
=======================
<uc1:CtlGridCheckBox1></uc1:CtlGridCheckBox1>
CtlGridCheckBox1.ascx.cs
=======================
string _name;
public string Name
{
get { return _name; }
set { _name = value; }
}
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
_name = text.Text.ToString();
}
In this CtlGridCheckBox1 is within CtlGridCheckBox.
CtlGridCheckBox1 has the property "Name" whose value I want to access in main page.

You can do that by changing the code in html view.
for example u have a column with name "Column0" in your grid
u want to see text in textbox on it's edit and insert mode
for that just go in your html view and in edittemplatecolumn tag with search the text property of your textbox and change it
text='<%#bind(databaseColumnName)%>'
hope i make my self clear to u

Do You want to upload or want to store field by field value of xl sheet to DB fields?
if you want to upload refer this

To succeed, we must first believe that we can.

Hi All...
I have a datagrid with values bound to it..I have two columns in the datagrid.The first column is the name field and the second column is age field..Now i need to higlight the highest age which is found in the datagrid..I want to differentiate it from other rows by giving some color differences in the datagrid...
Someone help in this regard....

Here is the idea...IMO
- You find the highest age from data...
- In the ItemDataBound event, you get the value of the second cell and compare this one with the highest one. If equal, change background color for this cell or whole row...that's up to you
Hope you get the idea

Hi
You can change background color in ItemDataBound if you have row number with highest age as given below: "0" --> row with highest age
if (e.Item.ItemIndex.ToString() == "0")<br />
e.Item.BackColor = Color.Beige;
Or Get row number using for loop. Set this row no in a hidden variable. Use this hidden varible to change the background color.
DataGrid1.Items[0].BackColor = Color.Beige; //Change 0 to your hidden variable.
Hope you got it.
