In my project of asp.net i got
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException.
When updatePanel is used in my page.
One of the solution might be disabling caching of cookies in RoleManager in web.config .
I tried for it with the following code
<rolemanager enabled="false" cacherolesincookie="false">
<providers>
<add
name="SQLOLEDB"
="" type="System.Web.Security.SqlRoleProvider" connectionstringname="ConnectionString" applicationname="MClosetURL">
But it is not working .can anyone help me to solve this dangerous error.
Thank you.

I know that to insert a image to a static web page we have to use tag.
After creating the html file at the server, when tried to access from the
client the images are not correctly loaded at the client system. Is there any
browser settings for that. Using IE6 here.
Usually if we access web sites with static contents, the images are downloaded to the client machine to the Temporary Internet Files and from there it is linked...right ?
Or Is it embedded to the contents ?
With tag we can achieve this i suppose ? Or is there any other way ?
Or is there specific way in setting the Src path in tag.

hi,
if you are using c# then use string.lastIndexOf("\\") or (@"\")
hope this helps

The reason why you have to do what other person said is that \' or \" is escape sequence for single/double quote, so it is missing end quote. string.lastIndexOf("\"") would compile, but it would also return last index of quote (") not backslash.

When a page loads, check if the session for that user exists or not.
If its null, then ask him to sign in.
|
|
|
|
|
When you click back you are not actually reloading the page, what you see is the browsers cached copy of the page. Are you using the ASP.NET membership controls for authentication? If so, when you try do something on a cached page that requires authentication you will be booted to the login page.
|
|
|
|
|
do a Session.Abandon();
when u logout.
then check in all pages if session is null? if null take it to login page

I would use a regex!

string RemoveCommaInFrontOfL(string str)
{
return "lilo,rajesh";
}
string str=,lijo,rajesh;
str = RemoveCommaInFrontOfL(str);
This will work.

No, it won't work.
RemoveCommaInFrontOfL has a void return type, so the line
str = RemoveCommaInFrontOfL(str);
Should cause a compile error. I see what you were trying to accomplish with that though this solution doesn't seem like it will work for any other string arguments, hence is probably not a very practical solution.

Hi,
I am displaying a set of Images in my web page from the Browser Cache using Javascript. I am also navigating between images using JS.
My Problem: Sometimes, the image has displayed partially (ie Part of the Image).
Most of the time, NO Image has displayed. But, when I right click over the Image area, view the properties, the URL represents the correct image url. Also, when I right click on that Image area, then Click on Show Picture, then the Image has been visible.
What can I do to solve this?

Jay

Which is the OS of your Web Server? XP provides limited connections only (10) and the bytes transferred are limited only. Try in Web Server in a Server OS version.

Absolutely right. I have tested with Windows 2003 server. Works fine. I have spent more than 4 hours on this issue. Thanks.
