Now I want that, When I click on welcome1.PDF ; then I should receive this value to display on a label.
I want the same , when i click on Contact2.PDF, also its value(i.e. Contact2.PDF) should display on the Label control.
Please help me, its urgent.

U can use
oNodes1 = New TreeNode
oNodes1.Text = "Ur Text"
oNodes1.NavigateUrl = "URL where label is there"
oNodes1.Target = "If u r using frame then put the frame name"
oNodes.ChildNodes.Add(oNodes1)

Here is my control, what it does is that it doesn't require a numeric value, but if one is entered, it cannot be longer than 10 numeric characters. No spaces are allowed. Please modify to your needs:
<asp:RegularExpressionValidator
ID="RegularExpressionValidator_PostalCode"
ControlToValidate="txtPostalCode"
Display="Dynamic"
ErrorMessage="Optional: Invalid postal code"
ValidationExpression="\d{1,10}$"
runat="server">Optional: Invalid postal code

Hi,
I am using AJAX in my appl using VS 2005. In one of the checkboxlist, set of values are binded and one of the value is <b>"<n.a.> -"</b>
When I select that particular item, I got the error as:
<b>Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: an unknow error occured while processing the request on the server. the status code returned from the server was: 500</b>
What is the cause of the error? Is this problem using AJAX? What is remedy for this problem? Can anyone help me?

You could try changing the < and > to & lt; and & gt; which may solve the problem - without the spaces, had to put them there so that the page didnt show the <>

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. But where should i change it? When it is binded, value is taken from DB. But when I select the item (I enabled the AutoPostBack = True) for the checklistbox. (Also I do have same kind of value in one of my Dropdownlistbox).
When i selected in the dropdownlist, The SelectedIndexChanged event not firing, instead it gives the Exception.
In this case what should I do to avoid it..

When you have to call the javscript function
you can write script tag in content placeholder Whats the problem in calling the javascript ?

I know that use a javascript in content place holder. but function will be call in body tab. body tag can not write in content place holder. if you know please help me detail. tanks.

My question is when you have to call that javscript function on load something like that ?
if you put that javascript in content placeholder and that content placeholder is in form then this javascript is going to call in page load
so better way is to register that javacript .cs file

Sorry,
The page is not postback on TextChange event but it fires the TextChange Event Routine When it is Postback by another event or submit.
so you have to manualy submit the form.

Hi All,
I have bit of a head scratcher, I have a LoginView control and in that loginView control I have a dropdownlist, to access the dropdownlist control in the code behind I know you have to do :
DropDownList ddl = (DropDownList)LoginView.FindControl("dropdownlist");
But how do I get the event for text changed of that dropdownlist control. I added it manually but when I try to run the app I get the message that the event is not accessible due to its protection level.
Any help will be appreciated.

hi,
i have a table. and in that i have two rows(trs)
in first row i have two tds .In first td i have a textbox and in second td i have a button named "save"
In second row (tr) i have only one td ........this td consists of a button named "add new row"
if i click on the "add new row " button another row has to be generated dynamically with textbox and button like first row.

Not sure what you are trying to ask, but I'm assuming you are wanting to create a table dynamically?? If so, have a look at my code that I used:
In .aspx file:

In a method:
