Dear,
I have to tried to use ASP.NET AD with i got a stuck with this
DirectoryEntry de = new DirectoryEntry();

"IP, Username, Domain, Passowrd all are correct already"
but i got the error

That's why you are not able to connect through the program.
just type
ldap://LdapserverIP and run.
if this is work in browser put the same thing in Ldappath in you code and dont forget to give Authentication type that i have mention alredy.

ok. but you can access differet domain from your Cureent domain. suppose your system domain in test.com you can access RemoteTest.com using ldap.
and be aware from "Server is not operation Error"

Hello everybody in this forum
i have one master page file with one form run at server named "form1"
and another content page that uses the master page file when i place inside the <asp:content xmlns:asp="#unknown"> tag of the content page another form run at server i got that exception , when i remove the second form tag inside the content page , there is another exception because there are some server side controls must run inside a form with runat server ???
so in either ways i got an exception , i need to solve the problem of
" A page can have only one server-side Form tag."
is there any solution for that

you dont need any form in content page. just make your content page server side . Runat="Server"

i don't make any form run at server in the content page , i just insert a content tag which points to a content place holder inside the master page file
but the problem is that when i want to place for example two contentplace holders inside the master page suppose the first contentplace holder will contain a login control from the content page
if i want to place another content tag which points to another content place holder inside the master page file which contains controls that must be placed inside a form tag when i either put a form tag which runs at server in either the master page file or content page i got that exception .

Please solve my issue .
i want to develope a search form for which will search the values from a table and fetch the values from the table and show that value in the a gridview.
now i am going t describe everything:.
i have a table suppose tbl_update which having following coloums:
tb_id int
file_id int
App_Type nvarchar(50)
Role_id int
Field_Name nvarchar(50)
Old_Value nvarchar(50)
New_Value nvarchar(50)
Form_Name nvarchar(50)
Cycle nvarchar(50)
Date datetime(50)
Now about the form:
In the form i have 5 Dropdowns whose id's are:
1)ApplicationType ( should populate from App_Type coloum of table and appname should be distinct)
2)case name (should populate from File_id coloum of table)
3)Cycle (should populate from cycle coloum of table)
4)formName (should populate from form_name coloum of table)
5)fieldname (should have to populate from field_ name column of table)
now the conditions are as :
1) when i click applicationtype dropdown then case name should be populated and value should change by selecting value of applicationtype dropdown,
and also when i select cycle the case name should be changed and affected or should be populated.
2) Also when i select ApplicationType then the formname dropdownlist should be populated and then when i select formname dropdownlist then
fieldname dropdown should be populated.
And then when all dropdown is populated as by the mentioned condition above then there will be a button on the form named "SEARCH ", when clicking on the
button search the searched value will be shown in a gridview.
please help me in making database handling in this form , i mean if using stored procedure then help me in making that also .. i mean i want everything from
scratch , since i dont know ohw to write a storedprocedure or query also and to write logical query.
I Hope Someone can help me , since i am a fresher to programming and learning so finding very difficult to handle .
i am attaching the snapshot of the database table so that a clear view can be made.
Please i want a full code of everything if possible with javascript validations, i mean anyone who help me then have to take some time for this and whatever
he/she finds suitable for validations can add that also.
