thanks
the steps i do :
1. i add theme and css file into theme
2. i take copy from the css code and paste it into the new file
3. add in the tage of the page Theme="ThemeName"
4. i am sure that the pass is right
so what is the wrong , if u can help me , plz do ?

Where are you adding this, to the masterpage or to the content page??
Masterpages dont have a Theme attribute, do they?
Add a reference directly to the css file to your masterpage.
Just open your masterpage in source view (where the html is and not where your code behind is)
Drag and drop the css file inside the section of your masterpage

Hi,
I created a new web project, and the web.config that I added had so much code. How much of this code is actually needed? What can I remove to just display a normal web page? Currently it looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<configuration>
<connectionStrings>
<add
name="System.Data.SqlClient"
connectionString="Server=MYSERVER;Initial Catalog=MyDatabase;User Id=MyId;Password=MyPassword;" />
</connectionStrings>
<system.web>
<pages></pages>
<compilation debug="true"></compilation>
<authentication mode="Forms"></authentication>
</system.web>
</configuration>
When I try to run the web app in debug mode it give me the following error:
Unable to start debugging on the web server. Debugging failed because integrated Windows authentication is not enabled.
I am using IIS.
Thanks

Not sure why the error occurs but if you are not using Forms authentication, you may want to try this.

I am searching for articles for discussion forums in ASP.net. I am developing a good social networking site. So i need the discussion forums.

This is considered very rude and misdemeanor in discussion forums. Experts help out by volunteering their time and efforts for the benefit of others. If you would need a dedicated support, you better ought to lookup for a vendor or outsource your requirement rather than leeching on a discussion forum.

Hi,
I have 4 repeaters display some information webpage.I am giving the code here below.please give me the solution.
I have 2 tables.I have display them one below other.I have 2 repeaters in each table.one to display head and other to contents.But when i run the code i could see one header only but the contents in itemtemplate of both repeaters are visible.But the other one which is not visible is rendered when i see in viewsource of the rendered page.
If i comment the databinding code of the other repeater i could see the repeater head which i didn't see before.
This is the code i have written in page load
void Page_Load()
{
repno=int.Parse(Session["repno"].ToString());
username=Session["uname"].ToString();
DataListHeaderBind();
DataListItemsBind();
}
private Void DataListHeaderBind()

Please give me the solution i have wasted whole day for this.
I even tried taking onther table and putting table1 and table2 in separate rows.It didn't work for me.
I tried by taking two repeaters instead of 4, using HeaderTemplate and ItemTemplate of the same repeater to display header and Contents(Before i used separate repeater to display header and Items) it also not worked.
I could see one header on top of the page even it is in Second table.
Thanks Inadvance,
Ravi

Hi,
I m trying to put ajax timer control in griview. The gridview is in update panel. I have added an asynchronous post back trigger on Tick event of timer in which I m calling gridview bind so as I can update the time regularly.
I have a function which calculates the time left(its an count down timer).
But doing this the whole pages is being refreshed and also the ticks are not smooth, I mean ticks are running as 2,4,6,3 not like 1,2,3,4 and so on.
Any suggestion???

As always when there is a difference in the rendering between Firefox and Internet Explorer, Firefox renders the code correctly, and Internet Explorer renders it incorrectly.
As you only have floating elements in the #container element, there is nothing that gives it any height. As the height becomes zero, you don't see the background image.
There is a rendering error in Internet Explorer that makes the #container element grow to the size of it's children, eventhough they are all floating elements and should not affect the size of the parent.
Specify a height for the #container element, of put a clearing div after the three others. You can use this style for the clearing div:
.Clear {
clear: both;
height: 0;
overflow: hidden;
}
Specifying the overflow is needed because of another rendering bug in IE. Without it, IE will always make the element at least one character high, even if you specify a smaller height.
Despite everything, the person most likely to be fooling you next is yourself.

Hey, thanks a lot, the clearing div did it
Actually, i had a footer after the container, and i just moved the footer inside the container as well and added the clear
And i was thinking that IE was rendering right and that it was a firefox problem
Thanks again
