Hello
I am using client WSDL file, i want to generate proxy class from it.
I am using WSDL.exe to generate that proxy class.
But i am getting this error:
Unable to cast object of type 'System.Xml.XmlElement' to type 'System.Web.Services.Description.ServiceDescriptionFormatExtension'.
So, is there any perfect solution?

What have you tried?
or post your code. Your information is to little too judge.
Anyway you have 2 different types of objects that do not work together.
In Word you can only store 2 bytes. That is why I use Writer.

This is a simple process of generating proxy class from outside(client) WSDL file to access their web methods using asp.net.
In general, client has provided WSDL files, so using that we have to call their web services. so to use web service or to call them we need to add web reference of that wsdl files to our application and need to generate a proxy class so that we can call client methods for requesting the data and get response from their side.
But when i am trying to generate proxy class from the url of WSDL given by client at that time in command prompt of framework sdk using the command "wsdl /l:cs /http://a.com/b.wsdl", i got this error.

I need to call a web application in another web application.How can i call the project into another project.
|
|
|

What do you mean by "call"?
If two web applications need to share code, your best bet is to create a solution with two web application projects and one class library project.
The class library can easily be shared by both web applications, just add a reference to the class library project from the web application project.
I didn't get any requirements for the signature

Hello all
I send automatically generated emails from my page for verification etc.
I´ve read a couple of articles on the subject of avoiding spamfilters, and the mails work fine with hotmail, gmail, gmx and so on. But for some reason yahoo is tagging my mail as spam. Does anyone know if yahoo demands some sort of extra attention in order to pass spamfilter, and if so what this might be?
/regards

Good suggestions, but I believe both are already taken care of.
Our smtp is not open relay, and I think I attach a valid return address by doing this:
myMail.From = new MailAddress("info@myCompany.com", "MyCompany");

Hi Guys,
I have a web page with many controls in ASP.NET and I am populating records to these controls from database.
Now what I am trying to do is I want to create same page with same controls but this new page should be open as a tab page.
Could you please provide me any link or source code which can help me out?
(I am trying to create a TAB page with same controls)
I am not using AJAX.
Thanks,

If you need the same controls on more than one page, put the controls in a user control.

Hi,
When i try to send email using the following code :
MailMessage objEmail = new MailMessage();
objEmail.To = "feedback@yendha.com";
objEmail.From = "subinalex007@gmail.com";
objEmail.Subject = "Feed Back to www.yendha.com";
objEmail.Body = txt_feed.Text;
try
{
SmtpMail.SmtpServer = "smtp.yendha.com";
SmtpMail.Send(objEmail);
Response.Write("Your Email has been sent sucessfully to ");
}
catch (Exception exc)
{
Response.Write("Send failure: " + exc.ToString());
}
An Exception is raised i.e,
"The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 554 5.7.1 <subinalex007@gmail.com>: Sender address rejected: Access denied\r\n"

The SMTP Security policies are not allowing you to use gmail address for sending the mail.

Dim mSmtpClient As New System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient()

mSmtpClient.Port = "Port Being used Of your mail server"
mSmtpClient.Send(oMailMsg)

MAny SMTP servers restrict the sender to a local domain. That means if the SMTP Server is expecting all senders to be from 'somedomain.com' for example. Using your gmail address as the From address will cause the server to refuse to send mail.

Hi,
It is not a local domain , but Remote

hai all,
i have implemented md5 in my login page for security purpose.
Is this md5 is clienside/serverside?
because in html anybody can see the salt value.
function am using
function md5auth(password)
{
var seed;
seed=null;
seed="&<%=Session("salt")%>;";
password.value= MD5(seed+MD5(password.value));
return true;
}
and on button click event am implemnting the following code
txt3.Text = FormsAuthentication.HashPasswordForStoringInConfigFile(str_pwd.ToString().Trim(), "md5")
txt2.Text = FormsAuthentication.HashPasswordForStoringInConfigFile((Session("salt") + txt3.Text.Trim.ToLower()), "md5")
if txt_pwd.text=txt2.text then
response.redirect("Default.aspx")
end if
i dont understand whether it is both client and server side or only client side.??

|
|
|
|
It is getting the session("salt") from server to client. Say salt = 50 in server, so in client side you see
seed = 50 rather than seed = <%session("salt")%>
|
|
|
|
|
ya ur correct,in this way is this a serverside encryption or client side encryption.?
kissy
|
|
|
|
|
Its a client side encryption as MD5 function is just a javascript function where the salt comes from the server.

connString = "Provider=SQLOLEDB;Data Source = db.incheonlaw.ac.kr; Initial Catalog=stanlee;User ID=stanlee;Password=stan;";
using (OleDbConnection con = new OleDbConnection(ConnectionString))
using (OleDbCommand cmd = new OleDbCommand(CmdText, con))
{
OleDbParameterCollection pms = cmd.Parameters;
pms.Add("@Writing_Num", OleDbType.VarChar, 50);
pms.Add("@FileName", OleDbType.VarChar, 200);
pms.Add("@FileSize", OleDbType.Integer);
pms.Add("@ContentType", OleDbType.VarChar, 50);
pms.Add("@FileData", OleDbType.VarBinary);
pms["@Writing_Num"].Value = writing_num;
pms["@FileName"].Value = fileName;
pms["@FileSize"].Value = fileLength;
pms["@ContentType"].Value = contentType;
pms["@FileData"].Value = fileData;
pms = null;
con.Open();
cmd.ExecuteNonQuery();
}
All data of Writing_Num, FileName, FileSize, ContentType, FileData are normally operating.
and when debuging "cmd.ExecuteNonQuery()", there is an error message, "Must declare the variable "@Writing_Num"; at this codes:
catch (Exception ex)
{
buffer.Append("<li>Error Occurred: ");
buffer.Append(ex.Message).Append("</li>");
}
|
|
|
|

adding cmd.Parameters.AddRange(pms.ToArray()); before con.Open would help
In Word you can only store 2 bytes. That is why I use Writer.
