hi friends
i have a problem in web based cheating application where we using a chat window of

with scrollbar,i wana scroll bar always at bottom and i have done, but prblm is that i am using a hash table for coming msg.hash table work on btn click through javascript timer.prblm come when the btn click post back occerd so i wanat any control which not fierd postback and have click event

I am trying to display my grid cell value in grid textbox...,
So i used this following code...,

In this that first if condition is working...,
But that elseif is not working...,(Mentioned in bold)
Instead of that i am getting 0 on there...,
how to solve it...,

Its not like that..,
i need that execution time...,
I got that answer...,
For Each Maingrd As DataGridItem In dgrdmain1.Items

if(condition)
maingrd.backcolor=color.red
end if

This way we can change the row color.....,

clear querystring value

Hi.

Does anyone know how to remove/clear a certain value/key from a querystring?

Request.QueryString.Clear(); AND Request.QueryString.Remove(key);, do not work as the error states that QS is read only?

I do want to do the response.redirect("test.aspx?q=''") thing, as my it will not work for my situation.

Any help would be appreciated.

is it right to use crystal reports 10 in web application as far as the execution time is concerned.

But Sylvester it takes a lot of time in loading, once it get cached then there does not seems any problem.
and it shows the print page twice (how many pages to print).
Which is not required.and it can not be \eliminated due to the fact that it is a .nt feature.

no sonia. i am using crystal report in my application, there i am doing a lot of calculations , fetching records from many tables , reading resource file data...finally i export it into PDF then i show the pdf data in seperate window. It hardly takes 15 secs if it is big calc and more data.

HI all
In my asp application, I want capture the value when i am clicking an item in a datagrid.

I want that value(cand_Id) because i need to compare that value with another table and populate a page.

so i declared the column as

<asp:templatecolumn headertext="Candidate ID">
<itemtemplate>
<asp:linkbutton runat="server" text="<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Cand_Id")%>" forecolor="#000000" id="Label5">

now i am getting the column as link but after clicking i need to store it in session.

Pl advice how to track the value when i am clicking on the cand_id feild of one record in the datagrid

eg if i clicked on the first data in the grid whose id is 1 the value 1 i want to store it in one variable

The code is in HTML If i am writing the code while posting its going blank
but i wrote like
asp:TemplateColumn and header and all
so its showing the hyperlink in the grid, If u read the last line of my original message u can understand the problem.
