Hi Rahul,
I am not good in vb
I think you can write the same as
Dim tabrow As TableRow
i = 0
While dr.Read
Dim chkbox As CheckBox = New CheckBox
chkbox.Text = dr(0)
chkbox.CssClass = "pagetext2inside"
chkbox.ID = "chklang" & i
Dim tabcell As TableCell = New TableCell
if (i mod 3)= 0 then
if tabrow.Cells.Count > 0 then
chktable.Rows.Add(tabrow)
end if
tabrow = New TableRow
end if
tabcell.Controls.Add(chkbox)
tabrow.Controls.Add(tabcell)
i = i + 1
End While
dr.Close()
if tabrow.Cells.Count > 0 then
chktable.Rows.Add(tabrow)
end if

a. within the page from web service is being invoked
b. from Within web service
I have web service on multiple servers from it can be invoked. Based on where it is running I have different logic to execute.
2. I want to pass certain information to the web service that can be used between my all web methods. I do not want to pass all the information in webmethods parameters like
<webmethod()>_
Public function MyWebMethod_1(ByVal param1 as string....ByVal paramN as String) As String
...
End function
<webmethod()>_
Public function MyWebMethod_N(ByVal param1 as string....ByVal paramN as String) As String
...
End function
Any idea how can I do this? Can I have properties in web services? Yes, How?

ItemTemplate?? can u plz explain it to me??

Add a new column to your datagrid. Then in the UI you can click the button that says change to template column. when you do this, it will create an item template. Or you can just directly in the html have code like this:
<Columns>
<asp:TemplateColumn
HeaderText="string"
SortExpression="string"
>
<ItemTemplate>
<!-- child controls put your image control here -->
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:TemplateColumn>
Hope that helps.

How do I disable or remove the "Open" option in the file download window in my aspx page? Can somebody please help? Thanks!
I have been used the below code in my page.... That's why, there is no file in my Cache.
Response.Cache.SetExpires(DateTime.UtcNow.AddMinutes(-1));
Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.NoCache);
Response.Cache.SetNoStore();

You might not have that much control over the File Download dialog box as it is fully controlled by the web browser. To trigger the dialog, I guess, you should be using Content-Disposition with the full file name like (filename.xls ) [including the extension right].
You can tweak the headers and try sending the MimeType which is that of EXE. Normally, for Security reasons, Internet Explorer disables 'Open' for EXE and also the 'Checkbox ' right?
But this might not be a complete solution neither a cross-browser compatible one.

Hello guys.
Another problem for today.I have a page designed in HTML(Dreamweaver), and another designed in VB.NET(aspx).So, I tried to button link to the HTML page from the aspx page but I get this message when I run and click:
The HTTP verb POST used to access path '/Final Airliquide TelephoneList/Home Page/HomePage.htm' is not allowed.
I tried other forums but they talk about Global.aspx files that I cant find, or C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\WUDF, but my WUDF folder is empty.
I need some real help with this guys.

hi,
copy that file and put it in the same web application path.
Then give the link.
it will work.
i think you gave the physical path of the web application so it gave the
access error.
try this.

Its in the same folder.Thing is aspx needs all the file it works with to be in the same folder with it for it to access them.So I did that.I can see the file in the folder and all is well with no errors.But linking to it is another problem.
I tried that before posting this question.
I appreciate your assistance very much.
Im still clueless.Ive tried so many googles and forums.

do you want to submit any data to the htm file?
if not, you can call a javascript function in the onClick event and redirect to the html file using the following code in the javascript
document.location = " html path";
make sure the button type should not be submit.

This is because multiple browser windows opened in the same process (for example opening a new window using iexplorer) share their session. You need to start seperate browsers (for example Firefox and IE) to get your sessions separate...

you use any browser but indivisibly(seperate)

I'm redesigning our solution, and most of the asp controls I want to
style by using CSS.
Does anyone have link's to examples on CSS.
Her are some things I am locking for:
1. Change the arrow icon on a DropDownList, by using an image.
2. Make a button containing 3 images (left, middle'repiting', right)
3. Changeing the heder of a DataGrid so i has round corners ( 3 images left, middle'repiting', right)
4. Changeing a TextBox so it has round corners
5. Change the scrollbare of a ListBox, so it has the color Silver.
Is this things even possible with CSS, or do I have to make my own
custom controls?
Thanks in advanced

I don't think you can round the corners on a textbox.
The AjaxToolkit[^] has some controls with rounded corners that be of help for you.
only two letters away from being an asset

i read somewhere two lines in the stored procedure.
@companyname varchar(120),
declare @companyname varchar(120),
What is the differnce between them?

In short, the first would be used to specify a parameter to the proc. The second would be to declare a variable to use with the proc
only two letters away from being an asset
|
|
|
|
|
@companyname varchar(120) is the parameter which value will be sent by the user input.
declare @companyname varchar(120) is the variable declared inside the procedure.
if you are passing some arguments in the procedure, then you will never
needed it to redeclare.
