Some days ago, I was working Expression Blend 2 and VS2008 SP1 and I got the same error .
I've reinstalled .Net Framework (3.5 SP1), and my problem has solved.

Thanks for your reply. I have a Problem Sometimes understanding Versions. I have tried to get rid of Beta Silverlight staff installed on my machine. Can you please tell me the Difference between 3.5 SP1 and 3.5, Can you please send me a link where i can download the Setup for offline Installation.

No. You don't need Express edition if you already have VS 2008 professional or other edition. Are you still having that problem ??

Everything ok now, the thing i installed a lot of Beta Silverlight software , so they were causing Problems , after i unstall them and restarted, everything was ok.

Hi,
I am currently working on a SilverLight application that uses a WCF service to create and populate an Excel file and return the Result as the path on the server where the excel file is saved. This returned path will be used by the user to download/save the file.
I initially tried using the 'HypeLinkButton' and assigning the returned URL to the 'NavigateUri' property of the hyperlink. It did not work as when I clicked the URL, the page got navigated to a blank page and the error on the page was the following:
Error:
ManagedRuntimeError error #4004.
UnauthorisedAccessException Access is denied
Once I faced this issue as an alternative I tried navigating to a aspx page by opening a new window and specifying the window's URL as the returned file path. I couldnot find much on this online as well.
Any suggestions?

I do something like this to open a browser window when clicking on something. May not be exactly what you need, but perhaps can get you headed in right direction.

So...I've been looking for WF threads to see what kinds of questions ppl have been asking, and what the solutions were. I dug through like 10 pages or so of WPF questions and finally gave up. Could we split off the WF and WCF forums so that the questions don't get drowned in the deluge of WPF?

How many ways can you search for all the variations of WF? WF, WWF, Windows Workflow, Windows Workflow Foundation, Workflow Foundation, Workflow. Throw in more targeted questions like sequence, action, etc., and searching becomes a royal pain. Hence the request.

I am working on a project which requires Globalization, and have run into something I'm really not sure how to address. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
For the sake of brevity, let's say my solution has two projects, a WPF application for the GUI and a standard class library for the DAL.
The WPF application has a ResourceDictionary containing all of the strings I will need to Localize. I would like this ResourceDictionary to contain the Strings used for displaying validation error messages to the user.
The DAL class library contains my Business Objects, which implement IDataErrorInfo to supply validation logic.
The question, then, is what is the best way to supply my localized strings (which exist in the WPF project) to my business objects (which exist in the standard class library)?

I have read the article you are referencing. It is using resx files for the WPF application's resources, not ResourceDictionaries. Therefore, it is not relevant to the problem domain of my OP.

We would like to deserialize this response into a dictionary, but because of syntax "Data[", it thinks that it is an array.
I would like to generate wpf controls based on this out put. Does anyone know how to proceed?

Why not take the data, load into class objects and binding the object to a form or the collection of objects to a ListBox. The ListBox would use a WPF DataTemplate to render the controls. Lots of examples here on Code Project for data binding and data templates.
This is very straightforward in WPF and should be fun to code.

Hi All,
I'm just doing some reading on backwards compatibility for WCF services to enable them for use over the wire by ASP.NET and .NET2.0 clients.
I'm getting some conflicting info from blogs posts and wotnot (isn't that always the case?)
Obviously BasicHTTPBinding doesn't have the nice built in security contexts that you get with WSHTTPBinding but as I understand it as long as you configure the basic binding to use SSL Transport security (with certs) you should be fine using basicHTTPBinding. Considering that we need this backwards compatibility we don't really have any options other than BasicHTTPBinding ...
Has anyone got any real world use in this kind of setup? How did it go? Are there any gotchas to watch out for?
