I don't have a stiff solution but I have an idea. We can get a png image of the Indian Rupee from
This link.
Then use a simple CSS like this :
.rupee {
background: transparent url("./images/rupee.png") no-repeat;
background-size: 10px 14px;
background-position: 0 0;
display: block;
min-width: 10px;
height: 14px;
line-height: 14px;
padding-left: 12px;
float: left;
clear: both;
}
Usage in HTML :
<div>
<p class="rupee">100</p>
</div>
At the moment, It works perfectly... You actually have to download and store the png image of rupee that I provided in the link above.
