Installation of Sharepoint 2010

1. Click on PrerequisiteInstaller.exe (the computer must be connected to the internet and user should have Admin rights):

   

2. Click on setup.exe and enter the product key (HQ937-PP69X-8K3KR-VYY2F-RPHB3):

   

3. Accept the license.

   

4. The following window appears. Select Server Farm.

   

5. The following screen appears. Select complete and click Install Now.

   

6. The following appears.

   

7. The following screen appears. Check the check box Run the Sharepoint Products Configuration Wizard now and click close.

   

8. The below window appears. Click Next.

   

9. The following message is shown. Click Yes.

   

10. The below window appears. Select Create a new server farm.

    

11. The following window appears. Give the database credentials and click Next.

    

12. Give the passphrase in the below window and click Next.

    

13. The following window appears. Leave the default port number and select NTLM.

    

14. The following window appears with the link http://blrkiet0119pc:45039/. Click Next.

    

15. Configuring SharePoint Products window appears.

    

16. The below message “Configuration Successful” appears. Click Finish.

    

17. The browser will open with the following message. Select No and click OK.

    

18. The following window is displayed. Click Start Wizard.

    

19. The following window appears. Select Existing account (IN002\ic016067). Click Next (Error is coming for Create new managed account).

    

20. The following window appears.

    

21. Give the title, URL and leave default Template Selection as shown in below window. Click OK.

    

22. The following window appears confirming the completing the farm configuration wizard. Click Finish.

My vote of 1 Roman_wolf10-Sep-14 20:29 Roman_wolf 10-Sep-14 20:29  This is not an article. Just sequential screenshots of the installer without any meaningful info in the options selected. Moreover, while this is a good approach for installation on a development environment, it's not good enough for production. My vote of 1 Member 263085623-Mar-12 7:50 Member 2630856 23-Mar-12 7:50  This has little value as we are told to accept and select without reasons given. BTW, is that a demo product key?
