We organise something ourselves and get £10 each towards it from the company. But it has to be a group thing.

Yup - we have an unofficial party. They also sometimes do pot luck, which I may actually be able to go to this year. Nothing funded by the company, although we do get pizza lunches now and again for other reasons. Pay checks are nice to get... Big Grin | :-D

We used to have a Christmas party, but it was discontinued about 8 years ago because not enough people were interested, i.e. showed up.

Well they call us all to the main isle and we select from a pile of gifts (videos, clock radios, and the like).

My manager is bringing in lunch Friday.

That is about it.

Yep, "my" company takes care of their employees; good food, plenty of drinks, "better half" invited, some business partners also invited, cheesy disco-mobile...

Nope but we get £20 worth of vouchers for M&S, usually spend this on a meal from M&S on Christmas Eve.

in our organization celebrating holidays is depend on workload and customer problems.
if there is modarate workload so we surely celebrate X-MAS... Cool | :cool:
